This is the fundraising shop for Give A Greyhound A Home, a non profit organisation based in Scotland. We sell essentials (and non-essentials!) for greyhounds, lurchers, salukis, whippets - any sighthound, alongside nice things for their humans. GAGAH rehomes ex-racing greyhounds and ex-working lurchers throughout Scotland, hellping them to enjoy their retirement in a safe, happy home.

We have the answer!

Our Houndsies are super warm fleece house coats, the perfect PJs. You pop them on over your hound's head so no difficult leg manoeuvring is required. They even have a warm tummy panel and are secured with a long velcro panel over the back.

Houndsies are exclusive to GAGAH, designed and handmade in Scotland by Jazzy's Mum and super seamstress Sylvia 🪡

AND - all profits go towards the hounds in GAGAH's care.

Today Sylvia delivered a teal comic book coat for an order - and I'd forgotten how ace this pattern is!!!

Absolutely perfect for a characterful groo, and the background colour is a gorgeous shade.

You can order this one in the Jazzy Jacket (as in the photo) or in the warmer Jazzy Fusion.

What's the difference?

The Jazzy Jacket is a lightweight quick drying raincoat. It has a soft underside so comfy for your hound to wear. From £30.
The Jazzy Fusion has an extra super thick fleece layer, so it is ideal for the colder weather. £38.

JAZZY CLASSICS. The most stylish winter coat.

Exclusive to GAGAH, the Jazzy Classics are designed and handmade in Scotland by Jazz's Mum Sylvia our super seamstress!

They are a limited edition of winter coats combining an outer layer of chic wool blend fabric with a soft fleece lining.
Warm and contemporary greyhound attire for those cold, crisp winter days.

They are easy to pop on over the head, and in addition to the velcro fastening plus belt loop detail they have a side release buckle to allow slight adjustment for plumper or skinnier hounds. The cowl neck can be worn up or down.

These coats are made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Sizing Information:
Small to fit 26 1/2" - 28"
Medium to fit 28 1/2" - 30"
Large to fit 30 1/2" - 32"

Probably one of the hardest posts I've had to write. The Happy Hound Store crew have not had things easy recently 😢

This week we said goodnight to Sylvia's brilliant Jazz 💔
Jazz was the gentlest of souls. A total character, a huge inspiration, definite super model and most importantly Sylvia & David's world.

Back in September I also lost my wonderful Grace. Great collar model, quite rubbish at modelling anything else (usually running off and rolling in things she shouldn't!)

Jazzy was our first foster hound, how I originally met Sylvia and she is definitely responsible for A LOT. All the Houndsies, Jazzy Jackets, Jazzy Fusions, Jazzy Wipes etc - none of this would have happened without Jazz.

We will carry on and celebrate all they gave us, but, gosh, at the moment it is tough.

Please post your hounds wearing any of the Jazzy Collection below - just because, I know it will mean the world to Sylvia 💙
