🌈⭐️ It’s always so hard to say goodbye to little clients , I looked after Tedo like he was a new born baby , wrapped him up in blankets & snuggled him closely when his family was on holidays, his wee personality always give me a giggle , for a small dog he sure let the other dogs know who was the boss🤣. I love being part of his life & seen him all the time. Somewhere over the rainbow, he’s running free with his bestie “ Bella” , chasing the sun & butterflies.. RIP little one 😢💙Natasha Gallagher

Truly heartbreaking that two of my beloved clients crossed the rainbow bridge 😢No matter how much time we have with them, it never feels like enough. Being a groomer isn’t just a job it’s about loving and caring for each pet as if they were my own. Rest in peace, Benji (jack Russel ) & Lulu ( behind him) 🐾🌈🙏🐶

A seasonal reminder to keep in mind during autumn walks with your doggies. While children pick up horse chestnuts ready for games of conkers, they should be reminded never to eat them as they are toxic. But are these seeds also poisonous to dogs?

ARE CONKERS POISONOUS TO DOGS?

YES!!!!!!!!! Conkers AND ACORNS are poisonous to dogs if they are chewed or eaten. In fact, all parts of the horse chestnut plant are poisonous, including the leaves.

Horse chestnut trees, conkers and acorns contain toxic chemicals called aesculin & tannins that can affect animals if ingested. The greener the acorn the more toxic it is to your pet!!!!! There is no known antidote to counteract aesculin poisoning, meaning a vet can only give supportive treatment to help ease symptoms and give your dog the best chance of recovery.

Aesculin is a neurotoxin, meaning it damages the nerve tissues. If eaten in large quantities, aesculin can also be hemolytic, where it will rupture red blood cells. Both are incredibly serious and will make your dog very sick, so veterinary treatment must be given to your dog urgently…….

This is little Duke, he is on a schedule every 8/10 weeks!! He knows the process , enjoys his pamper & always leaves happy, but this is not always the case for some clients , the COST OF LIVING CRISIS keeps raising & KEEPING YOUR DOG GROOMED is so so important.
Please speak to me if you need to adjust your grooming schedule to suit your budget. Missed grooming appointments can quickly become a welfare issue and I would rather clip shorter and less frequent than have your dog suffer!! I am here to help not judge!! 🧡
