Catwalk Diva and Alchemy swapped coloured poles for XC today and all I can say is wow!

Good day at Speetley on Tuesday with the girls. Tiana jumped her 9th double clear in a row in the British Novice. Moana went a little green to have a couple of poles. Diva jumped double clear and finished 2nd in the 1m then jumped a nice round in the Newcomers for an unfortunate pole in the jump off. Golden girl jumped double clear and won the 1.10 then a repeat in the 1.20.

Well not many days go to plan with horses but yesterday was one by of the rare days it did!!! Took the 4 girls to Speetley where we jumped 6 classes and they were all double clear! Moana (Golden girls sister from another mister) won the British Novice with Tiana 2nd (8 double clears British Novice from 8 starts), Diva double clear and 1st Discovery and a nice double clear in the Newcomers. Golden girl 2nd in the 1.10 and a win in the 1.20. 3 out of the 4 mares are homebred and home produced so success is always sweet.

The girls jumped great at Golden valley last Thursday. Tiana jumped double clear and 2nd in the British Novice, Moana double clear and 3rd in the British Novice. Diva double clear and 2nd in the Discovery and jumped well in the Newcomers but just rolled a pole. Golden girl double clear and 1st 1.10 then a pole in the 1.20 but that is testament to how good she is - as I started to feel very unwell while riding her, starting with a nosebleed then sickness. Having to pull the lorry over on to the hard shoulder on the M1 to be sick wasn’t my idea of fun🤦♀️!!!
A new venue for the 2 young girls yesterday with a trip to Sykehouse. Very spooky arena with the banners and mirrors. Moana just spooked at the scary poles in the corner and didn’t see fence 3 but Tiana jumped a super double clear in the British Novice for 2nd place. So pleased with her 5 shows and 5 British Novice double clears.
A great show, jumping wise this week with the girls but I have to admit if it wasn’t pre entries I wouldn’t have gone as I felt very ill but luckily the girls were very kind to me.
Cicero’s Storm jumped another double clear British Novice to finish 3rd

Catwalk Diva jumped double clear in the Discovery to finish 6th then a really unlucky pole in the Newcomers.
Golden girl understood the memo and got a double clear and won the 1,10 and the same in the 1.20.

A very rewarding day at Speetley yesterday with Tiana aka Cicero’s Storm jumping her first British Novice, for a double clear and 6th. A great start to her career. Moana jumped lovely round the clear round. Golden girl had a win in the 1.10 but a pole in the 1.20- she can’t be perfect every time!
Took Elsie and Diva to their first show of 2024! Not been in the ring since November and not jumped a stick on Elsie since then.
Diva jumped lovely but had a fence in both the Discovery and Newcomers. Then Elsie jumped double clear and won the 1.10 and double clear and 2nd in the 1.20- her crown firmly polished and straight!
