I have always had a big passion for dogs and always wanted a career working with them. I studied at Merrist wood college studding animal care and management, during that time I have gained lots of hands on practical experience as well as theory. I specialised in dog health, dog behaviour, dog breed development and dog grooming. I came away from college with a National Certificate in Animal Care an

d two National Diplomas in Animal Management. I have experience in looking after a variety of different dog breeds from leonburgers to Chihuahuas. I had experience in dealing with dogs that have behavioural issues such lead pulling and being reactive on lead.

Alfie decided to have a little paddle in the river this afternoon

Dog sitting Rolo and Blue today. Blue loves his ball. But we must remember especially in this type of hot weather if your dog loves playing with tennis balls as much as Blue you must give them regular breaks away from playing with the ball to allow to relax and cool down. A good tip is to have a cold wet towel down for your dogs to lie on to help them cool down and of course have plenty of fresh cool water down for you dog at all times
