Maternity Leave Update

With only a few weeks to go until The Arrival of Bubs 2, sadly the entire household has tested positive for COVID. Not exactly the relaxing maternity leave I had planned 😷🤒

Important Update!

As of this week I am now on maternity leave. This is two weeks earlier than planned, but I needed to listen to my body and put my health and wellbeing, and that of my unborn child, first. Now is definitely the time to relax, rest and recover before the big day arrives.

I can rest easy knowing that my pack will be in safe hands with Simon of Herts Dogs. Thank you, Simon.

The plan is to return to work late summer 2023.

I can't wait to update you all when little one arrives 🥰

Like many people I am still trying to process this evening's sad news of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. My thoughts turn to her family who in a final act of love rushed to be by her side today. There is no balm for a broken heart but I truly hope they all take comfort from one another tonight, tomorrow and in the weeks, months and years ahead.

A huge thank you to Kitty of Paws Playcare and her army of volunteers for putting on a really brilliant charity dog show yesterday. The three of us had a great time manning the agility course, watching the dog show and then wandering around all the stalls and winning raffle and tombola prizes.

It was extra special to see lots of familiar faces, so a big thank you from me for coming along to support this event.

Please make this an annual dog show, Kitty! 😉

Today's the day! We are really looking forward to attending the Paws Playcare Dog Show at 3pm.

Just a reminder that if any of my customers want to purchase raffle tickets through me that is absolutely fine. 50p each or 5 for £2. Prizes include photo session with Herts Dogs; training session with Herts Canine; lots of lovely doggo items; booze for the humans and other wonderful donated prizes. All proceeds to Kitty's marathon charity, HCF.

A reminder that our super sporty friend Kitty at Paws Playcare is holding this charity dog show event at the weekend to raise money for her London Marathon charity - HCF. All details on the poster.

First prize in the raffle is a pet photo shoot with Simon from Herts Dogs. A mighty fine prize and well worth a few quid on raffle tickets! If you can't make it on the day but would still like to buy raffle tickets please get in touch with me and I'll buy on your behalf on the day.

There will also be a double decker bus selling sweets and shakes; what more do you need? 😋

Ten days ago I posted about Ziggy and how his affection and protection extends to my family. Here's the proof.

We've had the pleasure of seeing Ziggy this weekend and honestly he and my daughter are best friends. Whenever another dog was on the approach he was straight by her side, protecting her. I'm not in the least surprised; Ziggy was the first dog to sense when I was pregnant with my beloved daughter. They share such a special connection. 💕

My little girl, the giver of dog treats!

Today's walk was extra special because I was joined in Ashridge by both my dad and daughter. Both absolute naturals around the doggos 🐾 The giver of treats is always the favourite though, right? 😉🥰

My friend Kitty at Paws Playcare is holding a charity Fun Dog Show on Saturday 6th August. A warm invitation has kindly been extended to all my customers; it would be lovely to see you there.

This year Kitty is running the London Marathon in aid of Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF). Well done Kitty, what a great cause!
