Hi ,

This is a kind reminder that ALL cancellations, including the ones for medical reasons (unless I discreetly decide to cancel the fee) must be made at least TWO WEEKS before the walk you wish to cancel.

This is a common dog-walking policy and I know I have been too flexible many times but I'm struggling to keep the business running like this and make my budgeting properly. My prices are 15-20% lower than Rover because I am not a part-time walker and work with regular clientele. I hope that makes sense.

Today, between 12 and 12:20 pm at Beecraigs MTB Car park (the one by the loch), three vehicles were vandalised by someone. My van was one of them, and they stole my bag with my purse and all the keys, batteries etc but were kind enough to leave my phone...

The other two cars had the same losses and similar damages. The windows were broken and the culprit opened the car doors and stole everything he could had his hands on.

The police have been informed, attended the car park and recorded everybody's statements. Hopefully, he/she/they will be found soon.

The world has become an awful place when you only try to do your job and out of nowhere luck hits you hard like this. A month ago it was my tyres, now this... I am honestly so gutted for existing in a world with horrible people like the ones who decided to ruin 3 people's day today :'( . I hope they will pay for it soon.

Can dogs see colours?

Because dogs' eyes only have two types of cones (just 20 percent of the cones in human eyes), their color spectrum is limited to shades of gray, brown, yellow and blue. This is called dichromatic vision, which is similar to humans who experience red-green color blindness.

‼️ATTENTION Everyone

Lyme disease can be a serious condition if not treated early.

It’s spread by ticks, and if you find one on your body, you need to remove the whole tick carefully.

If you've been outdoors:

🔵 Check your body and clothing for ticks

🔵 If you find one, carefully remove the whole tick using a tick remover or fine tweezers, then dispose of it

🔵 Clean the bite with antiseptic or soap and water

Some common Lyme disease symptoms include a red, circular rash on your skin and flu-like symptoms.

If you’ve been bitten by a tick, see your GP.

🕷 Tick season:
Hint - there is no "tick" emoji, so I used a family member from the arachnid family, the spider. 😆

The temperatures are getting higher and the tick season has started.
Please make sure you have taken measurements to protect our wee fellas from tick diseases such as:
1-Lyme Disease or Borreliosis (Common in the UK).
2-Canine Bartonellosis.
3-Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.
4-Canine Ehrlichiosis (Common in the UK).
5-Canine Anaplasmosis.
6-Canine Babesiosis.
7-Canine Hepatozoonosis.

Some of these can also affect humans if bitten by a tick so any precaution will save your human and canine loved ones. :)
