Salt Therapy helping with Respiratory/Skin issues, improving lung function, performance and general well being. I am a fully insured and fully qualified ICAT Level 4 Dip Equine Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Practitioner and a proud member of the Association of Complementary Animal Therapies (ACAT). I am also a practitioner of Salt Therapy, using the natural healing properties of Salt to help

with Skin and Respiratory issues along with improving lung function, performance and general well being. Equine Massage Therapy can benefit any horse, whether competing at any level, hunting, racing, in light work, out of work/retired or a horse in need of rehabilitation massage and stretching exercises. Through a combination of massage and stretching techniques, W.I.S.P.A Equine Sports Therapy provides:

Wellness - Treatment provides a general feeling of overall well being in the horse. Massage stimulates endorphins which can calm a horse and also acts as a natural pain killer. It can help improve respiration and digestion, as well as draining lymphatic waste and toxins from the body. It also gives the coat a glossy shine due to the increase in the release of oils and the removal of dead cells. Invigoration – Sports Massage Therapy can invigorate and strengthen the muscles supporting the joints. It can help increase the blood circulation which carry enriched oxygenated blood to travel to the muscles, this helps them to be more effective. Suppleness - Massage therapy and stretching helps to loosen and stretch the muscles. Strong, supple muscles improve posture and helping support the whole skeletal system. This will in turn, improve the horses way of movement and gait. Prevention - The increase of blood supply and the warming and stretching effect on the muscles, help to reduce the possibility of injury. Massage also helps to soothe tired nerves, reduce scar tissue and helps to speed up the healing process in the event of injury. Great for general massage, rehabilitation and pre and post competition. Activation – Sports Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy helps to activate the muscles and the systems of the body. Increasing heart function and helps the muscles work and repair themselves, to maximum efficiency. SALT THERAPY:

• Antibacterial
• Anti inflammatory
• Antifungal
• Drug Free

What is Salt Therapy? Salt Therapy replicates the healing properties of the salt caves, using mineral salts which are ground into microfine particles, using a professional Halogenerator to omit these particles into the surrounding air. It works by using the controlled inhalation and absorbtion of these mineral salts, which are able to pe*****te deep into the respiratory system through the airways, which can reduce inflammation and irritation and is also absorbed through the skin when the salt lands on it. Salt Therapy is a Natural Decongestant and Antibacterial Treatment that also improves Recovery, Performance and Well Being.

A good bodywork session with a hock k.taping to finish. This boy struggles with arthritic hocks so taping is a great addition to reduce pain, encourage lymphatic flow and improve blood circulation to the area thus improving movement and wellbeing. This is a circulation taping, therefore there is no restriction.
As a bonus, for every hour the tape is on is another hour of hands on body work! 👌😊🐴

The horses ear has a large number of pressure points. Amongst other benefits, Ear massage is great for helping release tension in that area, will help release endorphins and generally encourage an overall feeling of relaxation.
I think Frog agrees! 🐴💕😁

Morning all. As you know I havent increased my Salt prices since I started offering Salt Therapy over 3 years ago. I also havent been charging fuel costs in a bid to keep this as affordable as possible for everyone as I want to be able to help as many horses/ponies as possible.🥰
Unfortunately with the external costs, I have no choice but to increase my charges. It's only a small increase in line with some of my other colleagues offering Salt Therapy across the country, so I hope it shouldn't be too much of an impact for you.
So, from 1st May, sessions will rise from £40 to £45. Anyone already booked in with me before the 1st May however, will pay the current £40.
Please do contact me with any questions and Thanks for your understanding and being amazing clients!💕💕💕
Also for anyone thinking of starting Salt Therapy for their horse or pony, if you book in with me before the 1st May deadline, the price will be held at £40 per session for the initial cleanse.😊🐴
Please feel free to share and here's a video of Kit enjoying her session last week.😁

Wow! I have the best clients!! Thankyou Sara Pike. ❤️😋😘

Couple of lovely horses today for Salt.
The gentleman Bubba, travelled all the way from Southhampton for a clinic and had a bit if a cough, so he had a good session to help reduce irritation and improve symptoms.
Then Whizza had a top up to keep on top of some respiratory symptoms. Looking beautiful there as usual, even if she was probably thinking of something "naughty" to do. 😂💕🐴
