"Walk Your Dog" month takes place throughout January each year. Dog walking is a perfect way to boost the wellbeing of you and your dog, both physically and mentally! So, say no to those January blues, and get out and have fun in the beautiful wintery weather conditions!

Neutering your cat is so important as there are too many homeless cats and kittens already. And micro chipping your cat is now a legal requirement!
To help owners on benefits, living in Winsford, we have partnered with Ark Vets in Northwich to provide discounted cat neutering and microchipping, starting on 6 January 2025.
All instructions are on the poster.

🎄Bring your pooch and join us for a pre-Christmas dog walk on Saturday. 🎄

Take some time out of the busy festive season and join us for a dog walk with your two- and your four-legged friends.
The walk route is roughly 3 miles and takes 1 hour 20 minutes to complete. It starts and ends at The Peacock, Nantwich (CW5 6NE).
A hot drink and a mince pie can be waiting for you on your return. To book, call the pub on 01270 624069, or use their normal online reservation system - just specify our dog walk in your booking notes. £8 for first person and £5 for each additional person in your group.
All proceeds will be donated to the animals in our care.

Mr Puss is a big, handsome, softie – he’s a bit of a gentle giant with a really affectionate and friendly nature! He’s just 3 years old and loves human company.
Mr Puss is FiV positive so must be rehomed to a home with no other cats (unless they are also FiV positive) and he must live as an indoor only cat.
FiV is no threat to humans or other animals (other than cats). It is passed between cats via bodily fluids and can affect the cat’s immune system. It's possible that Mr Puss got it from his mum, or that he was bitten by another cat in the past.
Many cats live a long, happy life with FiV. FiV can suppress the immune system so, as they get older, they can become more prone to infections and may not cope as well if they get other other cat illnesses. FiV positive cats should live indoors to stop them from possibly biting another cat and passing it on. We would be happy to discuss FiV further with anyone who maybe considering offering Mr Puss a home.
Mr Puss has been health checked by our vet and is otherwise perfectly healthy – he only needed his ears cleaned!
Mr Puss deserves a loving home. He would be great company and fabulous companion cat for any type of family. He should be fine with children and he may be able to live with a cat-friendly dog.

Update: We have had lots of interest in Boo, and are not accepting any more applications. Thanks.
Boo is a confident, chatty, little boy kitten (around 13 weeks old), who loves nothing better than chasing his toys, and following people around trying to figure out what they are eating! He's speedy and always on the go and would love another playful cat to be his playmate in his forever home. Boo may live life at high speed, but once he wears himself out, he loves nothing better than to curl up on a lap or to snuggle in your jumper for a long, warm, toasty sleep!
Boo has lived with other cats already in his young life, and he has also had a positive experience with a cat-friendly dog, taking the dog his stride. Once he settles, Boo will be a sociable little cat and perfect for any family.
Note: All our cats are neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, fully vet checked and tested for FiV/FeLV.

William is reserved. :-)
William is a cat that will stand out anywhere - just look at those different coloured eyes!
William is an older cat (9 years) - perhaps that's why there's been no interest in him so far. 😢
Older cats are just as beautiful and loving as their younger counterparts, and William is the perfect example with his sweet nature. He is naturally more settled, and perfect for an indoor home. He is still full of life and playful - although he is more likely to come for a cuddle than climb up your curtains!
William would be fine with older children, perhaps another cat, but no dogs, please.

🎅🎄 It's going to be a great day at RSPCA Stapeley Grange on Sunday. Lots going on. We'll be there. Are you going too? 🎅🎄

UPDATE AND PLEASE SHARE: Our Christmas event will be going ahead but we are monitoring the weather closely.

Please share and help us make this our biggest and most festive Christmas fundraiser ever. Santa and Mrs Claus have confirmed and we have lots of festive fun (and food) for the family.

Lots of festive stalls full of potential Christmas presents and lots of tasty food. We have two outside pitches left if anyone is interested - [email protected]

The Cattery and RHS garden will be open and we have 'limited access' wildlife tours as well. Lots of festive music (obviously) and the will be joining us as well for some Christmas pop!!

Bow and Flash, white with black kittens who were adopted from us last year, have settled wonderfully well with their pal, Biscuit. They are all so close. 😻 Sometimes, cats really do bond with new cats that they are introduced to. This is a great example of new companionship working at its best. 🤗

William is reserved. :-)
What a sweetheart William is! You can see from the pics that he loves attention, being with people and having a lap to sit on. He would love to have a forever person/people in his life!
William is 9 years old, healthy and playful. His eyes are slightly different colours (just pigmentation) but that just adds to his charm.
William should be able to live happily as an indoor cat as he’s done so before. William has previously lived with another cat in his younger years, so may be able to do so again. He doesn’t like dogs though.
William is great company and would make a lovely companion cat for adults and older (teenage) children.

Sky is reserved :-)
Sky is looking to find her forever home in time for Christmas!
Sky is a beautiful grey and peach girl, just 1 to 2 years old. She is a very affectionate and enjoys attention and being around people. Sky is playful and lively and should be fine with children (school age and upwards) who are old enough to treat her gently.
Sky would probably be happiest as an only cat, as she and her sister lived together previously, but didn't get along that well. However, she is quite a confident girl once settled, so she may adapt to a cat-friendly dog.
