Both my own Reubens and Melissa Sproul Cyrania Z had a good day on Sunday with some great rounds jumped between them!

The sun even managed to make an appearance ☀️ 😄

Days like these make all the hard work and long hours worth while 👌🏻

His paces are elastic and his flatwork is effortless, a real pleasure to ride.

To jump he stays in a rhythm and has a can do attitude.

16hh 6yo TB Gelding.

Syd has attended numerous clinics and camps at Somerford with previous novice owner. He has nice paces and a beautiful balanced canter! Hacks alone and in company, will step up with another jockey but hasn’t been pushed in current home.

He is a fantastic stamp with a good amount of bone alongside correct confirmation.

He really is a smart lad that is ready to go and have fun.

🌟 Tilly is now ready to find her new home! 🌟

She is a 14.3 7yo Connie x
Tilly is low mileage for her age but has been to arena hires and clinics with us. To ride, Tilly is sensitive but never nasty and always tries her best and gives a lovely feel. She has started to work over poles and a small jump but needs more confidence in this area. She is an absolute poppet in and out of the stable. To hack Tilly will go first or last and doesn’t get giddy or silly and is good with traffic. She has no vices and is a pleasure to have around.
She will make somebody very happy I’m sure!

A great afternoon away from the yard with a handful of horses with Borrett Yard Equestrian 🦄

Including both Tilly and Frankie (videoed below) who are both for sale.
Tilly is a rising 8yo 14.2 unregistered Connie and Frankie is a rising 5yo 13.2 cob. Both of these ponies behaved fantastically and we are excited to see them develop 🤩

And just like that, life resumes as normal! I hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year and have lots of goals to aim for in 2024 🎆

The festive period was just as busy as ever for me and also included the arrival of this little guy, Frankie!
He is still under assessment but will be coming to the market soon. I’m sure he will make somebody very happy 💝

He has just started his assessment period and proving to be a little star, however he has already generated A LOT of interest.

If he looks like the horse for you, register your interest sooner rather than later. Who knows how long he will be here!

Another week gone, along with another month…nearly! I’m ready to meet more new faces over the next couple of weeks 🐴

The dark nights are coming so why not plan ahead and book your horses in for schooling/breaking. That way you don’t have to worry about out trying to squeeze in a ride before the light disappears 🌙

Another trip back to Aintree today with 8yo Reubens. This was his first show back indoors and you could really tell! Extra spooky and lacking a little confidence as he sometimes can do. A few more indoor rounds under his belt and he will be back to feeling his best self 🧡

Today 4yo Toyboy M jumped his first time indoors at the training show at Aintree, and only his second ever little show! His behaviour was impeccable as always. There’s much more to come from this big lad 🫶🏼

It’s been a busy weekend! Reubens went to his first hunt on Saturday which he thoroughly enjoyed! Sunday consisted of taking 4yo Toyboy for a jump away, ready for his first indoor show today at Aintree. He behaved impeccably as always and showed his true class! What super horses 😄
