Meet Biffa. Biffa was unfortunately left abandoned in a skip before she came to us and due to this, is a very very scared cat. She has no trust in humans and is after an owner who has so much patience to give her, as she is extremely nervous. She spends most of her time hidden behind or under her bed. She enjoys eating her dreamies in private.
Call the team if you'd like to come and view Biffa and if you can offer her a forever home where she can learn to trust again.
My personality
• I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
• I need to be kept indoors
• I could live with children of secondary school age
• I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
• I would prefer not to live with a dog

Why not join us a become part of our team? We need volunteers who know their way around a bookshop and can help us raise money to rescue animals from cruelty, abuse and neglect across North Staffordshire.

Our busy charity bookshop in Hanley is one of a kind in the area, and we need your help to ensure it continues to provide a haven for book lovers, whose purchases will help us to provide a haven for our rescued animals.

We need help in all areas, including sorting donated stock, creating displays, social media, and serving customers.

New chapters to read = New Chapters in an animal's life.
