Kennel cough is going round, we have learned of two recent cases. If your dog is coughing please keep your dog at home. Please ensure your dog is up to date with the vaccine, its a spray up the nose once a year. Thank you.

What does the gang think of the new kid on the block? One thing our gang do best is socialise with the big boys, Ralph is a beautiful Ridgback that we just could not resist, especially after having Rodney since a pup, Rodney, Maverick, Reggie and all the big boys have given him a warm gentle welcome.

As your dog ages, their motivations and needs may change as their mobility decreases, and they will sleep a lot more.

However it is important to mentally stimulate your senior dog as this will lay down new neural pathways. Results from several observational studies have indicated that people who do cognitively stimulating activities may have a lower risk of cognitive decline and dementia.

It is thought that this is the same for our dogs, in that play and activity may stave off cognitive decline and improve cognition in those already starting to slope downward

We're not nasty, we're not bad, we are not even mean.
We are just a bit scared or nervous sometimes.
All you need to do is give us some space, and the world feels much less frightening sometimes.
When my human asks you to call your dog back, its not beccause they think your dogs bad or naughty either, We just like different things.
And they are just trying to help me feel safe.
Next time you see a dog wearing yellow, will you do something for me?
Just give them a little more space. It will mean the world to us 💛

Our King is 15 today!! Our sweetest fearless little monkey is 15, King Raul the Affenpinscher Affen- monkey, Pinscher -( dog) We adopted Raul 10 years ago as his previous elderly owner sadly passed away, We had a nearly 15 year old miniature schnauzer Ruffles and 4 cats at the time, all got elderly and since passed, since then he has enjoyed lots of doggy adventures, he has made countless friends, welcomed two children and loved his life, his Auntie Chloe takes him for holidays, and he is nicknamed the King as he rules his roost.

See you all on the 3rd of june, the last few months have been sooo busy, sorting our new land, Training evening and weekends, working with many beautiful pups, our beautiful doggies during the day, and juggling the kiddos between Dan and I,
