‼️Point & Flush Training‼️
For those a bit further along in their gundog training, a great opportunity with Lee Loveridge who will be hosting for the club a Point & Flush training session at Kenilworth, Warwickshire. A subsidised event for members.

22nd February, 9-1pm (Arrive 8.30am)
£35 members / £50 non-members

Dogs must be under reasonable control and good standard recall. Intro to working live game and working on hopefully gaining steadiness after the flush.

Intro Deer Tracking Training Day

We have a fantastic Deer Tracking training day set up which is being kindly hosted by Deer Tracking Services within Thetford Forest area, Norfolk/Suffolk borders.

This is a subsidised event for members at £80 and £100 for non-members.

A very happy new years walk in Norfolk today! Oh what fun we had!!

Thank you to everyone that made it so special! Loved chatting to other griff owners, and hopefully some future griff owners who came to join us and see the dogs in action.

Super excited to see the photos from the pro that joined the party! India infiltrated the walk with her gorgeous Whippet and professional camera and hopefully managed to capture the chaos in style!

Cannot wait to do another Norfolk/Suffolk walk with this gang! Hopefully mid-late summer and with the faces and paws we missed today!

Wonderful to see another Griff being championed and making a mark in the working world! Fabulous well done 👏🐾♥️

Massive congratulations to Gareth Wilson, who was awarded Norfolk & Suffolk HPR Field Trial Club’s ‘Handler of the Year’ award at our final monthly training session of the year yesterday.

In true N&S style, even a named storm didn’t put our handlers off and we had a fab turnout for training, followed by mulled wine, mince pies and our annual awards!

Gareth has worked incredibly hard with his two dogs, Tess (Korthals Griffon) and young Jango (GSP), travelling the length and breadth of the country for training, successfully competing in working tests and now Field Trialling with Tess!

The progress Gareth has made is fabulous and testament to his hard work, patience and determination - he is also equipped with the vital sense of humour that we all need to live with and train our beloved HPRs!

The dogs all had a blast at Sutton Heath in Suffolk for the festive walk. The heavens opened and we got caught up in a marathon but it didn’t dampen our spirits!

We had a great meal and a couple of drinks at the Kings Head in Woodbridge afterwards and a mooch around the Christmas market where the dogs found the cheese stall extremely interesting! 😅

Thank you to all that came! Looking forward to more walks next year!
