I can provide you a professional and qualified service in dog walking if you are at work, out for the day or simply away on holiday. I can provide a service at a competitive rate to suit your requirements. The purpose of setting up the business, K9 Capers, is to give back to you exactly the sort of love and care I would wish for my own dogs if I was out for an extended period or otherwise unable t

o take them out for a walk to ensure they were happy.

I am insured with Pet Plan and DBS checked for your peace of mind. After working for the Royal Air Force for 24 years as a Police Dog Handler, I am a reliable and hard working, very conscientious person and this will reflect in my business.

I currently have 4 dogs which are very well socialised. I would ask that with each new dog walking/day care and home visit clients I would perform a free, no commitment, home visit to meet you and your dog(s) and discuss the best terms to suit you all.

I have had the best customers anyone could wish for.
I have had an amazing 5 and a half years with the best dogs, My extended family of furry kids.
On the 5 April 2024, this was my last day as I chose to close the business and pursue another career.
It was the most difficult decision, I have ever had to make. People think I am crazy to give up a successful business, being my own boss, and loving what I do.
All this was considered, but I need to be challenged, so I chose to follow what is right for me.
Thank you all for your support, your friendship, and most of all, your trust in allowing me to take care of your prized family member.
I will stay in contact, and hopefully we will meet again… 😢

A lot of people are not aware of sci, please read the attached….
This is why we stop walks in wooded areas at this time of year. It’s always a long wait for the first good frost and then we are back walking in the woods

We have been notified that there has been 2 cases of Seasonal Canine Illness in our area. Please be mindful of any countryside walks and walking through the woods. Check your pets feet when returning from walks, looking closely for harvest mites. Any sign of lethargy, vomiting or diarrhoea please contact your vet for help and advise.

I’m so sorry, but due to the increased temperatures this coming week, I won’t be able to walk dogs in the afternoon.
I have to consider the welfare of dogs in my care.
Walks will only be carried out in the morning.
I will be doing a group walk in the morning and dropping dogs home at lunchtime.

The main reason for setting up my business was that I could spend more time with my dogs instead of working away. Dexter had his 10th birthday yesterday, and for the last five years, I got to spend time at home and celebrate with him ❤️
