Hi all, here is an update on the May18s . I thought you may like to see how they are looking now . Here is a video of the 9 hobs from that neglect case, it really shows how discoloured and urine stained they were when they came in , to now moulting their dirty coats in some funny ways. They all are ready for adoption and they are all friendly . To adopt, give us a ring on 07933783793.

Looks like we may be having a touch of Summer!
Ferrets don't cope well in hot weather, make sure your outdoor ferrets are in the shade , no direct sunlight!
We freeze bottles of water and cover them with a sock to put in their bed boxes , spray them with water, put bowls of water with ice cubes in, you can buy cool pads for them to lie on , use fans on their cages etc etc , please put your 'cool' ideas in the comments!

At South Cheshire Ferret Rescue, we believe that every ferret deserves a loving home. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome ferrets in need. The following photos 18 Ferrets were seized from a horrendous, neglectful situation. The ferrets were kept in the dark in a closed shed and were living and sleeping in their own urine and excrement. All had sore feet and badly stained wet fur when they arrived here. We couldn't tell what colour they were supposed to be. They were fed bread/milk, Ovaltine, and cheap dog food.

NOW after a month of good, appropriate food, fresh water, clean bedding , space to move around, and above all LIGHT they are actually very happy ! They still look a little rough in their ruined coats but they will soon moult it all away and look stunning. They have all settled well after neutering and are turning out to be lovely ferrets for confident beginners.

Ferrets are wonderful creatures to have as pets, and these amazing little ones are looking for a loving home!
