A little Christmassy Mean Girls reference (yes, it's a Christmas movie) and a whole lotta FACTS.

I don't think we spend enough time telling you how good we are. Because it feels weird. But I'm so proud of our little team. We are CONNECTION centric.

We want connection with our clients.
We want our clients to connect with their dogs and vice versa.

We are focused on your success.

We are often the 4th or 5th trainer than people have seen, and (to our knowledge) we are the last.

We meet you where you are at without judgement and then guide and coach you towards your goals.

Our skills are well suited to one another's and we work together as a team so beautifully. We work cases together, support each other and build each other up. Where one falls, the other picks up.

Working with us you will have a holistic approach that gets you where you need to be in an effective manner.

We are taking clients for the new year (2025, we are ready for you!) and have one space left for December.

We are back, babyyyy! After the amazing feedback from our first course attendees...

✨ We are running another cohort of our amazing offer for our lovely XL Bully community ✨

There are so many of you here, and we wanted to create an affordable option for you to be able to up your training game and also tailor our help to you as an individual!

So we have created Getting the Best from your Bully - an online training course where we cover your needs as an individual, alongside fundamental training principles and foundational concepts and skills.

The new course will be open to 8 individuals and lasts for 4 weeks. Thursdays evenings at 6 pm starting Thursday 28th November.

The whole 4 week course is only £60!!!

Our last cohort graduated this week and will be moving onto the intermediate course in the new year 🙌🏼

💫 NEURAL PATHWAYS 💫

Imagine this…

You’re walking in an overgrown field with a well trodden path through the middle. Your favourite restaurant is at the end of the well trodden path. There may or may not be reinforcement available elsewhere in the field. You are walking with someone else.

What might influence the choice you make about what route to take…

💖 How optimistic you are - could you access additional reinforcement and still make it to the restaurant? Would you consider that there’s an even better restaurant tucked away?
💖 How motivated you are - can you overcome obstacles and delay your gratification?
💖 What company you are with - do you trust their judgement and take influence from them?
💖 How difficult the alternative path is to travel - is it too much hard work without any guarantee of a better outcome?

Whilst your dog might not be consciously thinking about each of these things - these are all factors to consider when asking your dog to make a different choice to the one that they usually make.

Established neural pathways are like well trodden paths. If your dog frequently travels the same pathway under a certain set of conditions, it becomes almost like a lightning reflex. For example, barking at dogs (pathway) when they are on a lead and a dog walks towards them (set of conditions).

Not to mention the dopamine hit that a dog gets when it repeats any behaviour they have performed before. That stuff is addictive!

So the next time you’re thinking about modifying your dog’s behaviour, consider how you can:
🧠 Improve their optimism
🧠 Create some motivation
🧠 Grow your relationship
🧠 Make it easy for them to get it right

Bully walks are happening!!

Open to all bull breeds. Must be dog social - we aim to work on the dogs being able to have a calm walk together, with elements of play when appropriate.

DM to reserve your space. Only 8 spaces available to begin with.

Small donation to join (this will be put back into increased education for Bully owners).

If you're unsure if this is right for your dog, send us a message and we may offer a 121 assessment if needed.

✨️NEW TEAM MEMBER✨️Well, we could not be happier to share the new member of the Bull Breed Behaviourist team - Annie! She is working as our new virtual assistant to help us with the admin and calls side of this small (but growing) business.

We have got SO BUSY, and we really appreciate each and every one of you for enjoying and interacting with our content, and choosing us to work with your Bull Breeds.

Annie is going to help us help more people! She has a BSc in Animal Behaviour, and she also has built up her own successful dog walking business, so we feel so lucky to have her on board! By having her on board, we have more time to create content and help bull breeds 🙌.

So now, Annie will be the ones getting in touch with you to chat about your dog and how we can help. She's super friendly and we know you'll love her 💕.

✨️ MEET THE TEAM ✨️

💫 Bethany - The owner and founder of and 🙌. Bethany has over 15 years of experience working with dogs. The majority of that time has been spent working in rescue, including my current role as a Senior Training and Behaviour Advisor in the UKs largest rescue. Bethany has always specialised in bull breeds and has lived and breathed them for her entire career. She shares her life with staffys Bonny and Loxy, exempt pit type .the.pitbull and a one-eyed chihuahua called Doris. Bethany is continuously learning and researching dog behaviour and Welfare and holds a BSc in Canine Behaviour. She is also an expert witness and runs GRC Dog Sports club . Bethany is based in Dorset but travels for work and has clients all over the country 💫

💫 Libbi - Head Trainer and Behaviour Consultant for Bull Breed Behaviourist Libbi has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge! If there's a course to do, Libbi has done it. She is dedicated to helping Bull Breeds and their caregivers. Working with kind and effective methods, Libbi can give you and your Bull Breed life changing results. Her support is second to none! She shares her life with Arlo, the adolescent Staffordshire bull terrier, and enjoys training him for GRC Dog Sports as well as trick training and obedience. She is fun and bubbly and will make you feel supported and heard. Libbi is based in Twickenham and covers surrounding areas. She splits her time between South West London and Dorset. 💫

💫 Hannah - Wonderful Hannah is just the loveliest and most caring trainer with dogs and people. She has a keen interest and huge skillset in rehabilitation. Hannah specialises in "done for you" residential training, which gives you a kick start with your dog or can help you through a plateau. This is a great option for those with a busy schedule or who don't feel confident and need a little helping hand. Hannah holds a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and is currently studying for her MSc in Animal Behaviour. Hannah is based in Suffolk and covers surrounding areas. 💫

Hannah has joined the team! 🙌

We will now be covering Suffolk and surrounding areas. Hannah's specialty will be "done for you" training / board and train - helping dogs in her own home to grow in confidence and master new skills, as well as sharing all of this with their humans! She also works online with clients worldwide, and her success stories are just incredible - we can't wait for you to be one of them!

✨️ Bethany worked with Hannah within rescue and couldn't let her go - and there's a reason! Her theoretical knowledge and practical skills are a match made in heaven. ✨️

Hannah has worked in various rescue centres, starting in Dogs Trust kennels in Essex and ending in Norfolk as a Training and Behaviour Advisor. In-between, she also spent time working for Medical Detection Dogs, training Medical Alert Assistance Dogs for people with life threatening health conditions.

Because one full time job with dogs just isn't enough, Hannah starting taking on private clients alongside full time work in 2022.

Hannah has also worked abroad with dogs including voluntary work in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Spain, Romania and Cyprus.

Hannah holds a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. Never one to stop on her learning journey, Hannah is studying an MSc in Animal Behaviour at Edinburgh University.
