We’re so thrilled that our consignment of pet food and products, generously donated by companies from the UK pet industry to the U-Hearts Foundation ‘Save Pets of Ukraine’ project have arrived in Ukraine. The donations are now being distributed to the displaced stray and homeless pets who have lost their families as a result of the conflict.

Huge thanks to the UK pet companies that kindly donated products: Skinner's, Pedigree Wholesale, PetsUp, Little BigPaw and James & Steel.

Teams on the ground were delighted with the quantity and quality of donations received, which included:

> 2560 bags of pet food
> 2983 treats
> 3290 toys
> 3485 pet shampoos and sprays

These items are essential for improving the animals' quality of life in the ongoing conflict. Thank you also to Greater Good Charities for their generous support in transporting the goods.

His Majesty King Charles has awarded The First Class Pet Company Limited, the team behind the LITTLE BIGPAW brand, with the Kings Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

Little BigPaw is one of only 148 organisations nationally to be recognised with the prestigious King’s Award and one of only two business from Worcestershire awarded. The First Class Pet Company was awarded The Queens Award in 2018 and now has the huge honour of receiving the King’s Award in the first year of King Charles’s reign.

Pets can’t save themselves from war but love and help can.

This is why we have been working hard behind the scenes with U-Hearts Foundation and Greater Good Charities to deliver much needed pet products to Ukraine as part of the ‘Save Pets of Ukraine’ initiative.

This wouldn’t be possible without the latest kind donations of aid from Pedigree Wholesale Aquatics Skinner's Little BigPaw James & Steele Ltd and Pet's Up Products Ltd who have donated much needed food and pet care items for our four-legged friends which will be delivered to the shelters that need it the most in Ukraine.
