A great family fun day out, with something for everyone 😀

Aurora Dogs & The Stroud Cats Protection League will also be joining us, an ideal opportunity to show our support for such two worth while charities.

Grab a deck chair or a blanket for the ground & indulge yourself at the BBQ or in the Bar at the Social Club 😀

There will be parking in the Halls carpark & a few in the Football club carpark 😊

I had the great pleasure of meeting Jenny & Justin yesterday.
They are two young people who open up their farm each year to host this amazing fun day out for all the family, entry is free!

We will be providing the Dog Show for them on July 20th!!

There's lots of stalls, tractor rides, BBQ etc.

I had the pleasure in meeting their sheep's 🐑 🐐 & kittens 😸 ❤️

Should anyone like to sponsor Rosettes/ Trophies or both, please let me know asap.

We are co hosting & bringing back Leonard Stanley Village Fayre & Dog Show on Saturday 27th July 😀

This will be held at Leonard Stanley Village Hall & Playing field.

1am to 4pm

We have a new Puppy/Beginners Class commencing on Wednesday evenings, Leonard Stanley Village Hall at 6.30pm.

However, we cannot train on the last Wednesday of each month!

There is so much going on….. 19th May 11-4pm.. we have 30 stalls and all different, from honey, crafts to clothes, steel band, cheerleaders, dancers, choir, the famous kings of kings Stanley trail, bbq, food stalls, tea, coffee and cakes and a bar! Prosecco pimms, 12 o’clock there is a songs of praise, there are games, doughnuts, candy floss, hook a duck, ring the bell. Dog show all day, chance to enter them. Click on picture below and you can see the times for each section. Bring a picnic rug.. see you there!

Out & About Class no.3

Our first Saturday morning out & about in a busy Stroud town & a busy Five Valleys Shopping Centre 😀

So many people, noise & distractions in the market & the Shopping Centre but we all managed a nice cup of coffee with our relaxed dogs.

Yet again we saw improvement with every dog. As for the owners.....well🤦‍♀️😂❤️

Congratulations to all fourteen members who were assessed & achieved their Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze Award👏

The Kennel Club Good Citizens Scheme is the Uk's largest largest Dog Training Scheme & a high syllabus of basic obedience.

A huge heart felt thank you to Alex from the Animal Welfare Service, Stroud District Council for assessing us all♥️

Our 2nd Out and About Class.
We had two new dogs join our pack this morning so eight dogs in total 😃
Our dogs went up & down steps in a controlled manner, crossed a busy road, entered a publictoilet!! & even ventured into the Five Valleys Shopping Centre where there was lots of distractions, music, lots of food smells 😋, an automatic door & of course, a different floor texture.
Every member provided reassurance to their dogs & every dog & member were exceptionally well behaved 😉
Congratulations to each of you & thank you for spending an hour with me for the welfare of your dogs ❤️
I'll see you all next Saturday at 9.30am 🤗

XL Bully's & Bully type dogs.

I'm a huge lover of all dogs & an owner of an Oldee English Bulldog so yes, my love of Bully's is immense.

All dog breeds are welcome to our classes, including Bully's😍

You just need to bring your excemption certificate & insurance document.

Yes they will need to wear their muzzles but all dogs need socialisation and training skills.

Our dogs are trained to the Kennel Club Good Citizens Standard for which you can gain certification for should you wish to. Yes, certification from the Kennel Club to prove just how dam good these dogs are, just like our very much loved Milo who is owned by our member Laura Catchpole

This ban is absolutely ridiculous & the discrimination against these dogs should be stopped.

Hooray 😃classes resume tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

Wednesday morning members, please remember Classes will be at Leonard Stanley Village Hall.....NOT STROUD CRICKET CLUB, this is for one week only.

After such a VERY LONG break 🤦‍♀️I'm so excited to seeing you all again ❤️

We've got the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards coming up & if it ever stops raining, we'll be arranging group dog walk/walks & out & about socialisation walks 😃

This is Milo, our XL Bully who is a very much loved & valued member of ours.
Laura & Milo have been training with us since he was 16 weeks old.
He completed the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards, Bronze, Silver & Gold which was assessed by Alex & Josie, Animal Welfare Service, Stroud District Council
The KC rules must be adhered to which clearly states, Assesors must not be from the same Training establishment!
Milo also achieved, Show Champion at our Christmas Dog Show & Laura's children Amie & Harvey won Best Young Handlers.
Milo is certainly a credit to Laura & her commitment to training this beautiful boy to such a high standard 👏
Milo was also awarded, joint Overall Best Dog 2023 out of thirteen classes 🏆👏
Milo is proof that XL Bully's can be adorable dogs & a pure joy to live with just like any dog, & just like any dog, they benefit hugely from Obedience training.
Milo always welcomes puppies, dogs, bi***es of all ages & size into his class, this is down to his early socialisation in the classes.
Milo continues coming to classes, simply because he enjoys them & seeing his buddies 😄

Minchinhampton Dog Show Saturday 9th September.

Due to the excessive heat 🔥We have had to make the decision to postpone Minchinhampton Dog Show on Saturday, it is just far too hot to risk our dogs health.

As soon as I can confirm a new date, I will let everyone know.

Those who have paid for entries by bank transfer, if you cannot join us on the new date, I will of course issue a refund.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but our Dogs safety is paramount ❤️

I so enjoyed working with Hope & her beautiful 8yr old Staffie, Saffie 😍
Saffie had a tendency to be reactive to anyone on a swing.
Hope & I worked with Saffie & now Saffie enjoys the benefits of just watching & the praise she receives, well done Saffie 😍
