Elvis is back!! After a pretty traumatic time of it and a fair few surgeries, Elvis is fighting fit and raring to go 🤩 I’m easing him back in to the groups so he can build his strength but we’re all very relieved and super pleased to have him back 🥰😍🐶

These two dogs are looking for a home, only because their elderly owner is no longer able to be with them.
They’re a little shy at first but very loving once familiar.
They’re to be homed together if at all possible.

WARNING: This afternoon I found a pile of these pellets on the wall at the bottom of Denton street by the gated park near the weir/river Caldew. A dog in my care ate some before I could stop her, I took her straight to my vets (who were excellent) and induced vomiting, suspecting they may be rat poison. She is now home and, everything crossed, she got to medical attention quickly enough that she’ll be fine in a few hours.
Very stressful and very worrying, certainly if this isn’t an isolated incident ( some seriously weird folk out there 😡) I know many of you walk your dogs in that area, please be vigilant and watch out for any more pellets. I’m Feeling a bit blooming stressed this evening but just glad I saw them and scooped them all up.

Drawing this particular dog presented a delightful challenge! Its unique features, especially the fluffy coat, demanded extra attention. While short smooth-haired dogs might be easier to draw, the intricacies of this one made the process truly rewarding.

So great to have such warm welcomes from these gorgeous doggies this week 🥰 a few more to return next week who’ve been very missed on the group chases! Also impressed with the actual waterproof action on my coat hood … it’s been a wet one! These are the things I get excited about these days- waterproofs that are actually waterproof and walking boots 😂😂 hope your first week back to work has been a good one - mine has!

Last day today before I ‘wrap up’ for Christmas (get it?! Amazing cake made for me by my sister 🤩 it’s my birthday tomorrow…39 for one more day! Mondays are rubbish days for birthdays but actually I can’t wait. I’m back to work walking gorgeous pooches and I do not take that for granted! Happy birthday to me!

It certainly is!! Beautiful welcome back gift from Rosalee, who delighted me with adorable welcome cuddles then rolled in something dead….all part of the fun, and she still got cuddles after, cos I am always mingin and can be washed 😂😂🙈🤷‍♀️😬🤩🥰
