Luna 😍

A great first session with beautiful Luna working to understand her challenges with walking on lead. She was a star today ⭐️

Looking forward to helping her progress her walking skills and supporting her with calmer walks. She travelled a good distance to see us today and she has some impressive singing skills in the car too!

Eddie sharing a special moment with his human at the end of our session 🥰

Eddie has really struggled with big feelings when seeing other dogs out on walks. We started out working at huge distances (across the other side of a field) but Eddie has now progressed to calmer walks where he can manage to stay calm so long as he has the space he needs. This distance is steadily reducing and Eddie is enjoying his walks 🫶🏻

Viv was recommended to me by two of my friends. I was very worried about the relationship between my older dog and my new puppy. I also wanted help with beginning to train our new puppy.
Viv came to our home to meet both dogs and was extremely helpful and reassuring. Her visit made a big difference to understanding our dogs way of communicating. We have also had some great training sessions 1:1 with Viv at her field. Our training was so helpful and we are really looking forward to joining the puppy classes. I would highly recommend Viv. She has helped us so much. I was extremely stressed about our dogs getting along and now that Viv has helped us things are so much better.

Lovely progress since our last session 🤩

Tezz is rapidly approaching the adolescent phase and is naturally curious about everything on a walk 😆 We are working on some fun training to help build more engagement with his human so that they can calmly pass people 🥰

We have been through Viv’s reactivity programme with our rescue dog, Bluey. We’ve been really happy with this process. Over the course of a couple of months, we’ve learnt how to read Bluey’s and other dogs body language, and to know when to give Bluey more space before he gets overwhelmed by nearby dogs. Because of this, his dog-reactivity isn’t anywhere near as bad as what it was when we started. Viv is a natural with dogs, she cares about their welfare and uses methods that get results, but it isn’t a quick fix. She worked at our dogs pace so he wasn’t rushed into situations he couldn’t handle. Our dog has had opportunities to socialise with calm dogs and we can see his confidence growing. We feel prepared to continue to support him. We’d recommend Viv to anyone with dog-reactive dogs.

A trip to Hertfordshire this week to support Lolo and his family 😍

Lolo had a very poor start and then spent 6 months in rescue kennels before moving to his new home with his wonderful new family ❤️

Lolo has some challenges around being handled, meaning a seemingly simple task like putting a lead on has him looking for his escape 😢 We are using ACE Free Work to support him through some of his sensitivities (visitors to the house) and also to gradually introduce equipment, like a lead. Some really lovely progress happening and his family are doing an amazing job supporting him 🥰

I am looking forward to our next session already 🤩

Definitely recommend Viv she has worked wonders with myself and Suki. Suki didn’t have a good start in life. Was late in getting socialised but Viv has helped us through this. We will continue with our training but she has come on leaps and bounds and that is all with the help of Viv if I could give more stars I would.If you need any help with your 4 legged friend then Walkies dog behaviour and training is the place to go .

What a treat to work with these 2 rescue dogs this week 🫶🏻

I first saw them a while back in their new home when they were too afraid to have a leads put on, let alone a harness 😢 With time, patience and understanding these two are now enjoying their walks.

Dana is worried when she sees other dogs on walks and likes her own space. If she doesn’t have space she shouts about it! Her family are going to try to adjust their walking route to avoid the head on encounters Dana really struggles with, until we can get some training in place to help her feel safer on walks.

Llum is timid around new people and takes his time to build some trust 🫶🏻 I am looking forward to seeing them both again next week 🥰

Having recently rescued our little dog Rupert, we were very keen to make sure we got things right for him and were lucky enough to have found Viv. Her knowledge is incredible and her kindness and gentle approach with Rupert (and us) meant so much. Our little boy is thriving and we are learning so much and have one happy little dog. Viv is always there for us and her continued help and advice means Rupert is just living his absolute best life, thank you so much Viv.

Great Dane Stanley has been too afraid to get in a car for several weeks after an event which scared him.
