Dear friends and customers of Silesiabullz !
We would like to tell you all that on the 14th February 2023, Fife Council gave us planning permission to create buildings on our land, almost 3 hectares, which our company purchased in 2021. These buildings will provide our dogs with more space for breeding and will help us move all of them there in the future. This will give our dogs a large space to live - lots of space for free running, training and playing - but most importantly, lots of fresh air.
We would like to thank all those who have helped make this happen. First of all, we would like to thank Christine and Robert Squair - the people who first trusted us and decided to sell us their land to us; from the first moment they supported us with advice and help whenever we needed it. Thank you to Moira & Jim Cousar, farmers who have supported us, and helped us with various aspects of farm work, but above all thanks to which our dogs can enjoy a daily portion of fresh free-range eggs, which enrich their diet. It is impossible not to thank IREK MEAT HOUSE and Polish Shop Domino- they provide our dogs with bones and treats every week - thanks to which our dogs' diet is so varied! We would like to thank our wonderful Planners - Tony Kartec Architectural Service, Peter McLeod from Gain Planning Services, Derek Scott Scott Planning, without whom the building permit application would not have been made.
We would like to thank the Environmental Control inspectors from Fife Council who have been working with us for many years, who ensure that our breeding is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, who always help with advice. We also have to mention the wonderful SPCA inspectors with whom we have met over the years of running our kennel - each meeting is always full of kindness and constructive advice on how to better care for our animals - whether it's hens, ducks, cats or dogs. Above all, we would like to thank the best veterinary clinic in Fife -Vetrica Vets ! Without these wonderful people, their passion, commitment and dedication, our kennel would not exist!
We would like to thank the inspectors from the Planning Department at Fife Council for believing in us, believing that what we do makes sense, that what we plan to build on our land will be a wonderful place to live for our four-legged friends.
It is impossible not to thank our neighbors from Fieldfare View, who accept the inconveniences related to our breeding. Thank you for your patience !
Dear Breeder Friends: Monika Rafalska , Sylwester Orlowski, Monika Donajska, Aleksandra Ozolek, Beniamin Orlowski, Zipangu Musashi Kou ,Natalia Kochmar, Katia Olejnik, Grzesiowa Zagroda FCI, Wilimski Dwor FCI, Belvedere FCI, Hodowla Bernardynów "Ponidziański Ber", Hodowla Berneńskich Psów Pasterskich - Z Franusiowej Doliny ! Our dear friends, thank you very much for your well-fed, pampered children you entrusted to us! Thank you for your support and for the fact that we can always count on you - that you always support us with your advice and help!
Dear Friends of our Kennel, we decided to write to you not only to share our joy because we can start a new chapter in the life of our kennel, but also because of the negative reactions we have faced. Maybe some of you have already come across these posts on facebook, maybe some of you are just coming across it now.
And since we applied for planning permission in September 2022, this was reported in the local Dunfermline Press newspaper. However, it did not generate any comments. The real avalanche of hate started when we received permission to build. Then the Dunfermline Press also informed the public about it. Comments flooded the internet that Fife Council had given permission to build a puppy farm. The comments and imagination of people are unimaginable.
Until now, we have consistently kept silent, believing that there is no point in discussing slander and hateful imaginations. However, after reading comments today that someone posted on a Polish group in Glasgow, we decided to speak out. A voice that we only want to speak on our kennel's page. It's you, dear customers and breeders that know us and know best who we are, the animals in our kennel and those that come out of our kennel. This is also our voice to protect our family - our children from the hate they have to face, in exchange for love, heart and a lot of work that they put into our animals everyday. It is our children who, just like us, assist in births, do not sleep at night so they can bring puppies to their mothers every 2 hours, they, like us, bathe, comb, clean, feed - and above all they love, cuddle, play and socialise with our puppies and dogs! It is thanks to our children, from the oldest to the youngest, that we could and can deal with the huge job breeding is.
So to all those who don't know us, and who easily judge what we do and what we intend to do in the future on our land!
- We have never been and will not use unethical, illegal practices, commonly known as back breeding.
-All our dogs come from proven, tested lines.
- Both dogs and puppies are under constant veterinary control - all dogs and puppies are registered with the Kennel Club.
- All dogs admitted to breeding must be at least 2 years old, mothers can have up to 4 litters in their lifetime - at least 12 months apart
-All dogs are members of our family and they stay with us forever, even after the procreation period, they stay a part of our family - Our beloved dog Begi is 10 years old and is still with us.
-Puppies stay with their mother until they find a new home. They are under strict supervision all the time - deworming, feeding, pliegnation, socialisation and with close human contact.
-As breeders, we have close contact with our customers and we offer advice and assistance whenever customers need us.
- We do not keep animals in cages, and our dogs, thanks to such a large land area, will have better opportunities for development, through the possibility of constant fresh air and physical activity.
-All our breeding plans are closely discussed and approved at the time of annual inspection by our Council, which issues us a Breeding License every year - checking the welfare of animals, documents, rooms used in breeding - all in accordance with the amended Act of 2021 - The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021.
We know that nothing we wrote here is new to people who know us, our family, our kennel, our dogs. However, we hope that these words will reach those who have tried to discredit us. We refuse to discuss whether breeding itself is wrong because dogs should be adopted, not bred - because worldviews, colours and tastes are not discussed.
We bow to everyone who deals with the fate of homeless dogs, especially those who have adopted such a dog into their home and family. However, there are still people in the world who dream of a specific breed of dog and want to know exactly what dog they are getting. The law sallows breeding, which will be confirmed by the latest British legislation - both in England and Scotland.
Sincerely, Magdalena Orzeg-Wydra & Krzysztof Wydra - Silesiabullz
