Hi, as you all know in December 2023 I left my job of over 42 years to pursue a part time passion of mine Lynne Patterson Dog Grooming. As most of you know Iv had to take some time off already just as things where starting to happen. although it hasn’t been common knowledge to you all as to the reasons why Iv had to take some time off in my early stages of getting set up it’s been apparent that a lot of you now know the reasons due to the number of heart warming private messages I’m now receiving. Iv thought long and hard about how to say how much I appreciate your messages of support/encouragement and thoughtfulness on here but still don’t seem to have come up with the right words 🥴but this is my attempt to.
Iv been totally overwhelmed with the number of private messages and have not for one reason or another been able to send messages back and have just done the cop out of putting the thumbs up👍 or replying with a ❤️. Two main reasons for taking time off is firstly the sudden loss of Audrey my mother in law to Cancer and while trying to get our heads around this huge loss I also received the devastating news I have Breast Cancer. This message is in no way looking for simpathy but to express how much your messages have touch me and David and to say the biggest thank for each and every message, it’s meant so much and my sincere apologies either the 👍 or ❤️ they have all been wearthy of more. Iv had my Surgery and now recovering at home and like Arnie said “il be back” not sure exactly when that will be but hopefully with doing as many hours as possible before hand to pamper as many fur babies as possible il be ready for their next pamper session.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to you all and il keep you posted in the next few weeks as to when I will likely be back.
A daughter of one of my clients is undergoing the same qualifications as myself and is kindly going to help out with any lifting and bathing, and she will be able to shadow me in the grooming side of things until I’m fully recovered which will help us both out, as it means il be able to get back the best job in the world sooner and hopefully she will learn some grooming/pampering skills from me.

Hi folks, just thought I would let you all know that I’m due to go into hospital on 9th Oct and unfortunately il have to take some time off afterwards so if anyone needs their dog grooming by me Lynne Patterson Dog Grooming before hand please send me a private messsge and ill book you in. I will be working more hrs to hopefully accommodate you all. I will be up and running as normal as soon as possible afterwards and will also be working more hrs with help so hopefully but il keep you all posted. In the meantime here are some photos 🐶🥰

Hi, just to give you all an idea of my prices:

Please note these may vary due to breed and condition, actual price will be determined on booking. I also do discounts for first grooms and also if you have more than one dog.

BATH & TIDY- includes Brush out of coat, Bath, Blow dry, Scissor tidy, Ears cleaned & Nails clipped if required - Prices from £15 for Toy smooth/short coat upto £35 for larger high maintenance breeds.

FULL GROOMS- includes all of the above as well as full body clipping/scissoring or desheding - Prices from £20 for Toy smooth/short coat upto £40 for larger high maintenance breeds.

Additional costs may need to be added as follows:
Dematting £5
Heavy matting which would result in a full clip off £10
Fleas present £10
The above additional prices are due to the addition work required to get your fur baby looking and feeling it’s best.

I only do a maximum of two dogs a day on a part time basis so if you would be interested in having your fur baby pampered please send me a private message.
All of your fur babies will have breaks, play time and cuddles in the comfort of my own home throughout their pamper on a one to one basis. I also do not use cages.

Due to health/safety and bathing facilities I am unable to take large breed dogs, however if your large fur baby needs a pamper please send me a private message as I may be able to offer an alternative pamper.

Hi all, just to let you all know as well as completing my Dog grooming Foundation Training I have now also completed the Advanced Grooming training with WoofsnScuffs training Academy. I started this journey in September last year and have covered so much from correct handling of you babies, health checks, correct bathing and grooming techniques and I am now fully up and running. I am very passionate and absolutely love working with all types of fur babies.
I have been asked a few questions so hopefully the following will answer some of the questions already raised:
Your fur babies are bathed in the comfort of my own home indoors,then:
I have my own studio set up in my back garden where they are dried and groomed in a warm comfortable environment.
All babies are groomed on a 1 to 1 basis and I do not use cases.
The maximum number of babies I do in one day is 2, and the maximum a week is 5/6 as I only do this part time and it is more like a Hobby than a business adventure.
Your fur babies will be treated to a full Spa treatment whether it’s just for a bath, bath & tidy or full groom/deshed.
All fur babies have plenty of rest/play periods inbetween their treatments and (aslong as they are allowed) treats and fresh water breaks. Because of this a full groom could take a minimum of a couple of hours (or more depending on breed/condition of their coat).
Any first visits may take a little longer as I like to settle your little babies with me first with a little play time and getting to know me time.
My prices start from as little as £15 for a bath/tidy but as each baby has different coat types and sizes and requirements please send me a private message and I will let you know the price. If your fur baby is matted there is an additional charge as I will take extra care and time to get your fur baby looking and feeling it’s best to minimise any stress to your baby.
I have various shampoos including sensitive and whitening shampoos as well as conditioner to bring out the best in your baby.
All babies are groomed to your requirements (unless they are heavily matted as they will need to be cut shorter).
