Privately run, as a home-based rescue, with fantastic and caring volunteers, Little Lizard Rescue provides rescue and sanctuary for lizards, chelonia,amphibians, invertebrates, small mammals and birds. Everyone wishing to rehome an animal will be required to go through our adoption process which may include a home check. Advice is always avai

lable on how to provide the best care possible including the type of 'set-up' required. And, should you find that you are no longer able to keep your pet, Little Lizard Rescue will welcome them back. We are based in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom but are happy to chat to people from outside the area including USA and Canada.

We apologise for the long absence. But this is just to let you know that we are making steps forward to be back up and running in 2025!

In the new year we'll have our own premises!

This will be in the Bedford area.

We'll be providing information, education, rescue and rehoming for lizards, invertebrates, chelonia, birds and small animals, including exotics. And, there will be a little charity store where you will be able to purchase items to help keep the rescue and all its work going!
