It ensures the waste is kept low and us on our toes!

It’s been a principle for us right from the start. Sure it means we have to step on the gas when the orders coming in thick and fast but it also means we can keep our footprint low and sustainability high. This is where it all began. The why. My why. Beginnings are important. Why, how, when? All of these big details have such an impact on the outcome. A series of events that have transported me to another world. Losing my little sister Emma, inheriting her dog Josh and then his slow decline due to arthritis. Looking for a bed that would support him whilst he slept, was critical. But it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I found a problem. A shocking problem. When you learn something that you know is wrong, you feel so compelled to do something about it, it’s as if you haven’t got a choice, you just have to act. That’s what I did when I discovered the toxicity of foams. particularly memory foam in dog beds. Compelled to take action in my own quiet way I started making the most natural and supportive beds possible. No fanfare, no starters gun. Now we are all just quietly getting on with our thing, in a barn, deep in an ancient woodland that runs through Kent. Thanks Josh for the love, the laughs and the learnings.
