This has hit me hard, Sadly over the weekend Florence lost her life. We all fell in love with the little bundle of joy the moment we met, (our forever puppy) and not seeing that smile ever again is heartbreaking. 🥺
Run free little one, we miss you already 💔💔

Kennel cough is a highly contagious respiratory disease that can affect dogs of all ages. While vaccination is a crucial preventive measure, it's important to understand that it doesn't provide complete immunity. Here's what you need to know:
Key Points:
- Vaccine Limitations: Kennel cough vaccines only protect against a limited number of strains. This means that even vaccinated dogs can still contract the disease, especially if exposed to a different strain.
- Vaccination Timing: To ensure maximum protection, it's essential to administer the kennel cough vaccine at least two weeks before your dog's scheduled arrival. This allows the vaccine to take effect and provide adequate immunity.
- Vaccine Shedding: Kennel cough vaccines are live vaccines, which means they can shed the vaccine strain for several weeks after administration. This can potentially infect other dogs, particularly those with weakened immune systems or those who are unvaccinated.
By understanding these factors and taking appropriate precautions, you can help minimize the risk of your dog contracting or spreading kennel cough.

We need your help!
To get help with rehoming Taila we need to organise for her to be spayed and vaccinated. The vet bills are adding up quickly and we have opened up our home to care for her, without hesitation, but the additional costs are getting significant now.
Your generous donation will make a huge difference in Talia's life. Every penny counts, and together we can give her a second chance at happiness.
Please donate today and share to help us find a loving home.
We found her walking down the road back in August, emaciated, matted and in desperate need of our help. The chip number has not been updated since the implanter all the way in London and unfortunately her owner has not come forward or registered her as missing. With the help from the vets and our ...

I provide a truly personalised pet care service in my home in woodlands with my family and little dog Jake.
Home boarding is an amazing alternative with all the comforts of home.
Dogs and little pets stay with us in our home while owners enjoy their holiday, treated like they were our own and get all the play time and cuddles they need. Not all dogs are equip to cope in the kennel environment and need the attention that home boarding provide, so while staying over I keep to their usual routine as much as possible and sleep in comfort where they would usually feel most relaxed. If required they get two walks a day with others and plenty of socialising throughout their stay.
Walks are taken in one of many local dog friendly area. I am lucky enough to have some lovely picturesque areas that have been converted from old collieries into community woodlands or wildlife parks. Just a short drive to a choice of woodlands and conservation areas so all my dogs get variety of exercise depending on their energy level.
