So a wee date night for hubby and I last night .....and on a school night!!

As part of my birthday, hubby got us tickets for The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight. We have been to several of the concerts by candle light, but last night was just absolutely mind blowing AWESOME!!!!!!

I may look like a total 'soccer mom' but I have a secret inner rock chick.....and last night was just absolutely incredible. The set was wonderfully fantastic- very gothic and atmospheric, the musicians were just incredibly super talented as always - dressed up with masks & skelton themed costumes and the 3 singers just blew our minds with their vocal talents. The whole event was just simply spectacular and just so much fun - the music was my kind of music - including covers of Led Zepplin, Metallica, AC/DC, Guns n' Roses to name a few...... absolutely astounding show. Great crowd at the playhouse - all thoroughly enjoying show, joining in and up dancing at the end ....superb!

I highly recommend this one and I'm already looking to see when I can attend another show - yep it was that fab! Do check it out if you love Rock music -you will not be disappointed!

Obviously the pups have had a hard shift today! Came down to make a coffee and found them flaked out, snoring their cute wee heads off! Talk about making themselves comfy!! Like how they've moved the cushions so they have one each to lie on! 😂 Such pampered pooches, but they look so very cute ....and just made me laugh - it's a dog's life right enough! ❤️❤️😍🐾😍🐾❤️❤️

Woohoo ....so happy it's weekend! Been a very busy week office work wise. Hubby is currently redecorating our bedroom - I just get more in way than help, so good excuse to get back into my sewing room until all finished!!! 🤣
This weekend I'm in Dotty HQ working on a new bear with a beautiful bee theme. Have some gorgeous bee theme material left overs and together with this gorgeous blue check wool blend material, I think will make a sweet little 'Bee Bear'! Finished off with these absolutely stunning bee buttons ..... very cute.🐝🐝

Happy Tuesday!

When I was sorting out my stock boxes late last year, I can across several wee gifts that I thought I'd pop aside for Valentine's Day this year - a couple of fabric bottles bags (perfect for a loved one's favourite tipple), a few wee drawstring pouch sweet gift bags, 1 jewellery pouch, a couple of my wee mini dog key rings and my wee Valentine Bears.

It's not a huge range, but there are a few quirky alternative choices to flowers etc that may appeal as something fun and just a wee bit different.

I have also put the mini felt bags in with them as well, as they have a love heart theme! These are on a special offer price of £3.50 each.

Start of a new week and a new month! Hard to believe we're into February already! Busy month ahead for me with several bespoke orders lined up.

Finished off my 2nd wee 'Valentine' themed bear and really love how this Tweed has turned out. He's a very smart bear and his mustard/yellow waistcoat really compliments the Tweed and a reverse colour scheme on his bow tie - he's a dapper wee fella! I've named him Valentino!

Both of these wee hand made collectable cuties will be on my website this week. These wee bears make a really cute wee alternative Valentine gift to flowers .....and will last much longer!!

Both priced at £35.00 each.

Woohoo....finally sorted out the pom poms I ordered and they're very cute - super fluffy & so soft!! I hadn't realised the range of colours, so fab surprise when I opened the bag. I think they just finish off my wee zipped bags perfectly and make a really fun wee storage bag.
The zipped bags are now on my website, lined with a washable material and they do differ slightly in size, of which all those details are on my website.

I'll be going pom pom daft with various Dotty Gifts this year!!! 😂

Happy Days ..... I have been back in Dotty HQ, which is just absolutely magic and I finished off this wee cutie. I have some pretty heart design material left overs and thought I'd use them to make some wee Valentine themed bears. This is one of only two I'm making & she is called 'Adora' (which means Beloved One or Gift of Love)

Her main body of Tartan is a gorgeous mix of soft greys & a kind of peachy pinky colours. Very subtle, soft and just a really pretty Wool Blend Tartan material. Wearing a fun love heart waistcoat with a cute wee heart button, lovely soft pink bow around neck and a cute wee flower adorement on her left ear .....she is a such a sweet wee cub!! ❤️❤️

Once I have second one finished, both will feature on my website. (He will be in a different Tartan.)

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and didn't suffer from too much damage after the storm on Friday!

Haven't been in Dotty HQ since last weekend, as I unfortunately came down with the horrible cold bug lurgy doing rounds just now and have been in bed all week. Will be back sewing later tonight ..... working on a few new bears. 🐻🐾

Looking through my stock boxes earlier this month, I came across these cute mini felt bags I made a few years ago. Only these 6 ones left .... they make a cute n' fun mini keepsake gift bag to put a wee present and/or perhaps as birthday party bags for a small party celebration ... just fill with lots of fun sweets/chocs etc

These will be on my website later this week and reduced in price to £3.50 to try and clear them to make room in box for new stock.

Happy Friday! Almost the weekend - woohoo!! Been a busy week, so I'm looking to just chill over the weekend.

A wee project I started last year to use up some of my left over material was to make wee make up/wash bags/stationery zipped bags or just simply a cute wee storage bag.

Made quite a few for myself for various sewing paraphernalia, but as I have lined them with a wipable material, they're suitable to store make up or toiletries etc.

I have currently made only these 7 bags, they do differ ever so slightly in size (due to the left over material size) but generally approx 9.5" width & 8.5" length. All are lined, have zippers and will be decorated with a cute wee pom pom keyring on the zipper for an added bit of fun! (I've used my own personal one as a demonstration) I'm just waiting on my order of pom poms to arrive. Once arrived, I'll be putting the bags on my website.

Priced at £10.00 each. They should be on my website within the next week.

Happy Saturday!

Been a busy week for me back at my office work. I have also managed to sort out the sewing room HQ and it's all lovely & organised (the usual January tidy that unravels as the year goes on!! 🤣🤣)

I mentioned in my last post about special offers that I'll be posting throughout the year. I know it's still only January, but thought I'd start off the New Year with a special offer on my remaining aprons. I will be making different full length aprons this year, but not the waist aprons. These I'm phasing out just now.

So the current full length aprons are now £15.00
And the waist aprons are now £10.00.

These are all fully lined, long side ties that wash & iron up great. Perfect as a wee gift for any chef or baker and/or just as a new apron for yourself. I've made myself a couple of new Snoopy ones for this year although my favourite is still my red waist Scotty Dogs one - love that apron!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful & restful Festive break. I can't believe we're into 2025!

Enjoying my afternoon cuppa, (with Sunflower Bear for company) & gorgeous chocolates my lovely friend very kindly gifted me (thank you ever so much Gayle again 🥰❤️ x) I was going through my Dotty Scotty plans for 2025, when I realised it's Dotty Scotty's 10 year Anniversary from when I went Facebook Business official with my wee craft business. I was actually astounded when I realised this! So watch this space ........... I'll be doing wee 'special prices' promotions all throughout this year to celebrate this.

My initial plans for 2025 is to concentrate on Tartan full length aprons (I had quite a few enquiries last year about these and just unfortunately didn't have time to make any). I've already got some cut out and will start to build up a wee collection - Tartan aprons were one of the first things I made when I started DS, so it's quite perfect I'm concentrating on these again this year.

My 'Wee Cub' Bears Collection were an unexpected, but a very lovely surprise hit late last year and I already have several enquiries to make more. I made my hubby a wee 'biker' bear and he was absolutely delighted with him! So some gorgeous new Tartan material is set aside and another order should arrive soon for my next bear collection. I have loads of ideas for my bear collection (which I'm very excited about!)

So not huge plans for 2025, but still a busy year ahead forDotty Scotty!
