Happy Monday .....though it really is pretty awful weather wise! Fur babies and I got absolutely soaked earlier today on our walk.

I was quiet on Facebook last week, as I was concentrating on a very special order of two bespoke memory bears for a very lovely lady. This is my first order of creating memory bears, so I was completely focused on them. I'm incredibly touched & honoured to be asked to make these very special bear cubs.

I just want to say a 'beary' huge and heartfelt thank you for all the absolutely amazing kind responses to my 'Wee Cub' Collection that I introduced to my website. I am so touched and overwhelmed by your kindness. Thank you all so much! 🥰🥰❤️❤️

All the bears are now away to their fabulous new dens, apart from wee Jethro Cub! I didn't wish him to be lonely, so managed to finish off today my new 'Sunflower' Bear to keep him company!🤣🐻

Both of these wee bears are pictured with their 'mama bear'. I'm just loving Sunflower's pretty waistcoat!

Had an absolutely fantastic day and overnight in Edinburgh with my mum & aunt to celebrate my mum's birthday and a wee Christmas treat to ourselves. Found this adorable we cutie on a park bench! I'm a HUGE Paddington Bear fan so just had to get a wee photo with him!! 😍😍😍 🤣 xx

Ooh it's a pretty grim night tonight!

But despite the horrible weather, I"m excited to finally officially introduce my bear range! These wee cuties are finally on my website.

In honour of my 2 legged cherubs, who since they were born I called them my little bear cub and littlest bear cub, I have called this new collection my 'Wee Cub' Bears.

These bears are all hand made and all one offs, so unless I'm specifically asked to make a matching set pair, no 'Wee Cub' bear will be the same. This makes them completely individual, with their own name & their own wee character and they have that slightly bonkers/unique look that is just so Dotty Scotty!! 🤣

They are a mixture of wool blend Tartan/Harris Tweed and poly cotton material. All have a sweet hand made wee waistcoat that is their signature look.

Although these wee bears have proper toy making safety eyes and noses, these are NOT toys and not suitable for children. These are bespoke collectable bears.

As such, due to the materials used and time it takes to make them, they are a wee bit more expensive than my other gifts. As an introductory special offer for a limited time, these wee bears are priced at £35.00 each. In the New Year, I will be increasing their price.

Happy Tuesday all

So tonight's wee Christmas gift post is for my mini Dotty Scotty keyrings. I have a selection of these wee pups in denim with either a tartan, floral or gingham bandanas; and I also have a few in various tartans with plain bandanas.

These wee cuties could make a sweet wee gift for puppy fur baby fans or perhaps as a teacher's gift? They also make a cute wee stocking filler gift.

Happy 1st December!!
So excited to open my Advent Calender this morning, as my wonderful youngest cherub gifted me a posh tea one! It's fabulous and I have all these fabulous Christmas themed teas to enjoy & warm me up over this month.☕️🫖

Talking of keeping warm, although we haven't had frost last few days, it has been a tad cold when out walking the pups. I made myself one of my pink Tartan scarves for this year (treated myself to a new hat to match) and feel super cosy walking my fur babies.

These wool blend Tartan cowl scarves go well with variety of coats. I wear mine with my denim coat, a blazer style coat, a lovely pure wool poncho style jumper and also goes great with just thick jumpers, as well as perfect with my heavier duty coats. I putter around the garden this time of year with just my garden hoodie and a cowl scarf that keeps me toasty warm

All scarves are lined with a lovely super soft & warm fleece material and finished off with a decorative button. Could make a lovely Christmas gift for someone or a wee scarf for yourself this winter.

Woohoo!! Kay's fabulous Christmas Event is on this weekend. Kay is a wonderful and super gifted artist, who is also a fabulous friend and she is absolutely amazing at showcasing & supporting fellow local artists & crafters. This weekend she has several of my local crafting friends' beautiful gifts & art work available - all absolutely perfect for Christmas gifts - hand made by very talented local artists & crafters, some are bespoke gifts and all are hand made with love, totally unique and are just that wee bit different! Very special gifts for loved ones at Christmas.

I'm heading up tomorrow with my Christmas Gift list and very excited as I got a wee early peek on all gifts on display!!

So this time last Friday we had just finished up with my eldest bear cub's Graduation Ceremony. Hubby & I are always super proud of both our cherubs, but this was an incredibly proud and emotional (on my part!! 🤣) moment in our family. I was an absolute puddle the minute he came into the family room in his robes - thankfully he's used to me and I didn't embarrass him! Well okay .... I did squeal and rush over to hug him once all finished, but I think that's a mama bears right!! 😂

A fabulous day, followed by an fantastic celebratory meal and out for drinks afterwards. What a way to kind of finish off 2024!!
