Well I still don't know what actual day of the week it is! 😂
But what I do know is that Deb and I want to share our latest episode with you
https://eastcoastdogtraining.co.uk/militant-dog-owners-dont-like-sharing/
We're seeing out season 1 with a touchy subject 🤭
When you're asked to be considerate in certain areas with your dog and it brings out the militant side of some people,
Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Have a great New Year and we'll be talking your ear off in season 2!
It's Christmas eve! And we know what that means!?
Last minute dot com for doing stuff we should have done sooner 😂
If you're realising your dog is not suited to the role of Santa's little helper then have a listen to the latest Ruff Realities and Revelations episode 🎄
We've got some great ideas to help smooth things out.

Deb and I would like to thank everyone who has been tuning in and listening to our rants & rambles these last few months. The feedback so far has been great and we're very grateful to you 🫶
When it all gets a bit too much! 🤯
Let’s talk about festive trigger stacking. With all the visitors, new noises, and changes in routine, all the good smells they can’t get to… the stress of it all can quickly build up in our dogs.
So if your dog does seem a bit stressed, don’t worry they may just need some time to chill and decompress.
Keep an eye out for these signs 👇
Subtle body tension
Increased vigilance
Slower response to cues
Heightened sensitivity to small irritations
Changes in normal interactions
Escalating reactive behaviours
If you notice these signs piling up, give your dog some chill time( book a freedom field for some decompression… for you and your dogs!), stick to familiar routines, and give them all the reassurance they need.
How does your dog’s cope at Christmas? Let me know in the comments below. ⬇️
This Christmas, remember to advocate for your dog’s comfort… give them space, stick to routines, and help them feel safe amid the holiday buzz. Share this post! 👍
Our Tearaways were tamed over the last 5wks 💪
Their humans put the work in and practised everything they'd been learning and we smashed our final session.
Having the classes in real life, distracting environments meant we could really see progress and I was there to support when needed 🙌
They now fully enjoy every walk knowing they have an even stronger connection with their dog.
Come and join us for the next one

Scientifically proven. Facts are facts. 😂
Our last Yellowcraigs classes of 2024 have graduated! 🎉
What a great few weeks we've had together. You've all come on leaps and bounds 💪
With the festive season fast approaching we really wanted to nail not jumping up.
Making sure our dogs know a Sit is the best way to get paid helps gives our dogs a solid behaviour to offer instead of jumping up.
I have every confidence your guests will be welcomed politely by your dogs 🙌
Our New Year classes are open for booking and spaces are going fast 😳

Do you get a pang of envy when you see people talking and their dogs aren't jumping up?
Or maybe you look at them and wonder how on earth they got their dog to behave 🤔
This is exactly the type of thing my puppy students practised at class 🎉
I'll let you in on a wee secret to success
😉 Give yourself a bit of space so it's not too tempting for your dog to play/say hello
😉 Keep on lead greetings short & sweet. Don't let them play whilst on the lead - usually we want our dogs to be calm when on lead & play times are for off lead. Gets a bit confusing for the dog if you let them play whilst on a lead.
😉 Keep your interactions successful. Move on before your dog gets too excited or bored. The aim is that they rehearse the behaviours you'd like them to do more often.
Let me know if this helps 🙂
Date for your diary people!
I've been invited by my friends at The Dog Port to come along on Thurs 5th Dec to the Cristmas shopping night 🎅
I'll be there to answer any dog related questions you may have.
Come along and say hello 👋
Your weekend listening is here! 🎉
Get yourself a beveridge of your choice, a snack and comfy because we're going to take you on a wild ride as we discuss the world of dog walking and daycare.
We went off on so many tangents that I totally forget where we were at one point 😂

Feel free to wade into the festive nails or not debate as well 🫣
The side eye I get when I say, ‘That’s enough treats for now’. Savage.😂
