Loving What Is.

Sometimes, love is spoken in words.

Sometimes, it's found in silence.

Our companions rarely tell us what they need with a voice we can hear. Instead, they speak through tired eyes, slower steps, gentle sighs, and the quiet trust they place in us every single day.

Loving what is means meeting them where they are—not where we wish they could still be. It means cherishing the moments we have, honouring their journey, and, when the time comes, offering them the greatest gift we can give: a peaceful goodbye surrounded by love.
The hardest decisions are often made with the deepest love.

To every family walking this path, know that you are not alone. We are here to listen to the unspoken, to support you without judgment, and to help your beloved companion leave this world with dignity, comfort, and the love they've always known. ❤️🐾💜

Twenty years ago, we quietly changed the way families in the UK said goodbye to the animals they love.

As the UK's first dedicated home pet euthanasia service, we pioneered a gentler, more compassionate alternative—one that allowed beloved companions to spend their final moments where they felt safest: at home, surrounded by love.

What began as a vision has become a legacy of trust, empathy and unwavering dedication. For two decades, it has been our privilege to support thousands of families through one of life's most profound moments, ensuring every farewell is handled with dignity, respect and exceptional care.

This milestone is about far more than the passing of time. It represents twenty years of setting the standard for compassionate end-of-life care, of earning the confidence of owners and veterinary professionals alike, and of remaining true to the values that inspired us from the very beginning.

To every family who has welcomed us into their homes during such deeply personal moments, thank you. Your trust is something we never take for granted. To our remarkable small team, whose kindness and professionalism define everything we do, and to our veterinary colleagues who have supported our journey, we offer our heartfelt gratitude.

As we celebrate twenty years, we remain committed to the principles that made us pioneers: compassion without compromise, dignity in every farewell, and the belief that every beloved companion deserves a peaceful passing, surrounded by those who love them most.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of so many extraordinary lives.

We had the privilege of helping beautiful little Dottie find her freedom. 💜

After two more seizures and waking that morning dragging one of her hind legs, her family knew it was time to give her the greatest final act of love—a peaceful goodbye.🐾

Dottie was a much-loved, 16 year old little Parson Russell Terrier, with the gentlest soul. She was famously known for "running the office" and greeting everyone who visited Design Interiors.

She was adored by her wonderfully modern family, who ensured she was surrounded by love and the very best care throughout her life.

Her farewell was every bit as special as she was. With candles glowing, worship music playing softly, a toast of Prosecco, and the people who loved her most gathered close, the atmosphere was peaceful, deeply personal, and full of love.

It was an absolute honour to help orchestrate such a beautiful and serene farewell, allowing Dottie to leave this world in the comfort of home, wrapped in the arms of those who cherished her.

Run free, sweet Dottie. Thank you for letting us be part of your final journey. ❤️🐾 🙏🏼

(Brighton residents: THANK YOU so much to all the patient drivers who tolerated our vet's 4x4 being double parked—with hazard lights on—in a busy one-way road in central Brighton while Dr. Suzen helped this little dog and her loved ones say goodbye. We would love to ask the council to help us with parking arrangements for these precious home visits, as we currently have no special permits that allow us to carry out this difficult but important work in the city. ❤️
Please support us by tagging Brighton & Hove City Council 🙏🏼)

🌿 NATURE GOODBYES
— A Bespoke Service by Dr Suzen 🌿

Compassionate, Mobile Pet Euthanasia — Wherever Your Dog Feels at Peace 🌅

Saying goodbye to a beloved companion is one of the hardest moments we face. The setting in which that farewell takes place can make all the difference — bringing comfort, calm, and a sense of meaning to both you and your dog.

For quite a few years, I have quietly made it possible for families to say goodbye to their dogs in the outdoor places they loved most — creating deeply peaceful, personal experiences beyond the traditional home setting.

I am now honoured to offer this officially as a premium, fully tailored, one-of-a-kind service, and the first of its kind here in the UK, available locally across Sussex and beyond.

With Peaceful Pet Goodbyes in Nature, I will personally come to a place that feels right for your companion

🐾 A favourite Walk

🐾 A serene Beach

🐾 A lush Forest

🐾 A picturesque Park

🐾 A familiar Car

🐾 Scenic Countryside

Any outdoor location considered

Wherever your dog feels safest and most at ease, I will gently adapt the experience to that environment — ensuring their final moments are surrounded by familiar scents, love, and calm. ✨

Importantly, even when taking place outdoors in public spaces, the experience remains entirely private and deeply intimate — just as it would within your own home. Every detail is handled with discretion, sensitivity, and care, so you can focus solely on being present with your dog.

´A Thoughtfully Curated Farewell’

Outdoor goodbyes can be incredibly beautiful, but they require careful planning. As part of this bespoke service, I personally guide and support you through every step:

• Selecting a safe, appropriate, and meaningful location
• Considering privacy, accessibility, weather, and your dog’s mobility
• Preparing the environment for calm and comfort
• Coordinating timing to ensure a peaceful, unhurried experience
• Arranging aftercare and memorial options in advance

This is a fully personalised bespoke service, created around your dog, your wishes, and your family — ensuring a farewell that is gentle, respectful, and truly meaningful. You do not have to navigate this planning alone. 💛🌿 💚

As this service has never been offered, officially, before in the UK, I am eager to know your thoughts, my fellow animal lovers, in the comments below ❤️

🌿 A New Way to Say Goodbye 🌿

Have you ever thought about planning something truly special and deeply personal for your beloved companion's passing? 🐾

Many of us spend years creating beautiful memories with our companions, away from the home environment, in places they love most—a favorite trail, a quiet park, a sunny spot by the water, or somewhere that simply feels like home. Over the past 20 years we have experienced that for many families the comfort of a cherished outdoor space can make a difficult goodbye feel more personal, meaningful, and full of love. 💜

When the time comes, if you had the choice, would you consider a farewell that was tailored to your companion and your bond together? A special location that held meaning for your pet's final moments? We’d love to hear your thoughts…

Dr Suzen is excited to be introducing a new groundbreaking bespoke service with this in mind…. More details coming very soon 🐾

🐾Welcoming Dr. Emily to the Vets2Home Family 🐾

At Vets2Home, we know that welcoming a new vet isn't just about growing our team—it's about finding someone who shares our belief that every animal deserves a peaceful, gentle goodbye surrounded by the people who love them most.

We're incredibly proud to introduce Dr. Emily ✨

Emily graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in 2023 and has been working in a local veterinary practice, caring for a diverse range of patients while supporting their owners through every stage of their pets' lives with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, gentle end-of-life care for beloved pets.

Despite her young age, she handles challenges with wisdom beyond her years and she truly understands that saying goodbye is one of the hardest moments a family can face and is dedicated to making each experience as peaceful, dignified, and comforting as possible. Emily believes that saying goodbye at home, in a familiar and peaceful environment, can offer great comfort to both pets and their families during an incredibly difficult time.

When she's not at work, Emily enjoys baking and running. Whether she's perfecting a new recipe or training for her next event, she values the balance these activities bring to her busy life.

Please join us in giving Dr Emily the biggest warm welcome! We're so grateful to have her join our small team as we continue helping animals and the families who love them.

Welcome, Dr Emily! 🐾💜

Beautiful Barny 🌈🐾

Nearly 17 years old this October, Barny was a much-loved and familiar face around his neighbourhood, adored by everyone who knew him. Such a gentle, sweet soul, he was clearly very tired and struggling in the heat, yet he still found the strength to get up and say hello — a true Lassie-type gentleman right to the very end 🙏🏼

Although his appointment had originally been booked for two days later, it became clear that the heat was simply too much for him, and his family made the loving decision to help him sooner. 💜

Surrounded by those who loved him, Barny spent his final hours enjoying plenty of treats and what was believed to be his third or fourth ice cream of the day!🍦
After receiving medication to help him relax and feel comfortable, he was so content and focused on his treats that he barely noticed the final injection…

Run free, beautiful boy. Thank you for being such a special soul. 💔🐾🌈
