Our wonderful committee members, Ashley, has put her writing talents to great use by creating a delightful collection of short stories inspired by her own cat. Her book, Marmalade Under Cover, is now available – and all proceeds will support the work of our branch.

Col's Cat Services held a fantastic quiz on Thursday night as part of his fundraising to run the London Marathon on our behalf next year. Everyone had a great time and he smashed his target🤩🐱.

We raised a brilliant £305.09 which will be put to good use helping unwanted and abandoned cats in our area.🦊🐱

Friends - handsome Nala is missing from Wrights Way in Woolpit. Unfortunately he escaped from the house not long after his owners moved in so he is not familiar with the area - and he's been missing for 2 weeks now. Please check your gardens and outbuildings in case he's hiding or taking shelter. He's neutered and chipped.

We recently took in a pregnant mum, (Shadow - see post below). Our fosterer then helped her care for her litter once they were born. We're so happy to say we've now found homes for all the kittens and here's the first, pretty Stella, enjoying life with her new forever family.

Good girl Stella - it's great to hear you've settled so well and we wish you and your family a wonderful life together!😍🥰🐱

The Renters Rights Act is now law!

Cats Protection has been campaigning for a change in the law to help cat owners in rented accommodation - and the Renter Rights Act has now passed into law!

Friends, some happy news on this chilly Monday!

Do you remember Daisy? Like many of our cats, she sadly had to wait patiently for a loving new home – but, in the end, it came.

And the good news is that she recently celebrated her sixth birthday and 18 months of bliss with her forever family. They sent us these lovely pics with a message: ‘she has been celebrating by sleeping and sunbathing! She is a beautiful, good girl, and I am thankful every day that she came into my life!'🐱

Messages like this make the hard slog worthwhile. Fingers crossed that Oscar and Shadow soon find homes as wonderful as Daisy’s!

Oscar is a gorgeous friendly boy, who just keeps being over looked so we are asking for your help in finding him his forever home. 💙

This handsome young man, just over a year old, has had a sheltered start in life, so he was a little shy when he came to us.

Thanks to the kindness of his wonderful fosterer, he’s now blossoming! He enjoys fuss and affection (head rubs are his absolute favourite!) and can’t resist a good play session with a peacock feather.

Oscar would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a family who can give him the time, love and reassurance he needs to keep growing in confidence. He hasn’t lived with young children or other pets, so a peaceful environment will suit him best.

Like all our cats, he will need safe outdoor access via a cat flap and a home away from busy roads.

Please help us find a home for sweet little Shadow🐾

This beautiful girl has had a tough start in life, having already raised three litters of kittens. Her latest kittens have loving homes lined up so please help us to find her the forever home she deserves.

Shadow is around 3 years old. She can be very affectionate but she likes life on her terms. When she's had enough, she's had enough! She’s playful too – give her a peacock feather or a ping pong ball and she’s in her element! 🪶🏓

She needs a calm, adult-only home with no other pets – somewhere peaceful where she can relax. She’ll need adopters with previous cat experience who will give her the time and patience to settle at her own pace.

Shadow is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and, as with all our cats, she needs outdoor access via a cat flap and to be away from busy roads.

Could you be the one to give little Shadow the happy ending she deserves?❤️

Friends - please help! Arlo missing from his Moreton Hall home.

Arlo has been missing from his home on Moreton Hall close to the play park field near the pub since 1 October. He’s a large, grey British Blue Shorthair. He’s neutered and microchipped and his lip gets caught up sometimes since having a tooth removed.

His mum Carly is desperate for news. Please check your gardens and outbuildings and call her on 07702 538826 if you have any information. Thank you!
