Feeling brave? Here’s a challenge for the thrill-seekers among you!
Could 2025 be the year you tick skydive off your bucket list – and raise funds for our branch while you're at it?

Cats Protection is hosting an adrenaline-fuelled skydive at Beccles Airfield on 21 September, and we’re looking for fearless fundraisers to take the plunge.

You’ll be jumping from 13,000 feet, freefalling at over 120mph – all in support of the work of our branch of Cats Protection!

So why not take the leap, embrace the adventure, and help make a difference?

Three Gorgeous Cats Still Waiting for Their Forever Home 🐾

Meet Timmy (white), Merlin (tabby), and Oscar (black and white) — three beautiful boys who’ve been in our care for too long and are still hoping for a loving home to call their own 💔

They’ve waited so patiently, and each has a lot of to give. Could you be the one to change their story?

👉 Learn more about each of them here: https://www.cats.org.uk/bury-st-edmunds

Even if you’re not looking to adopt, you can help by:

🎉 Tombola Prizes Needed! 🎉

We're on the lookout for donations to help stock our ever-popular tombola — a favourite at our fundraisers!

Could you spare a prize or two? 🎁

Think: stationery, toiletries, sweets, bottled drinks — or anything fun and giftable. They don't need to be big or expensive.

If you can help, please call Rachel on 07432 121248 to arrange collection.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your support! 💛

VERY HOPEFUL NEWS!

Leo has been sighted near to his old home where he now has catflap access to the house. The catflap has been set to "in only" so very hopeful that he will be caught!

Thanks to everybody that has shared the post.

Please see the message below from local charity Our Special Friends and look out for Leo!

We're very sorry to report that a cat, Leo, has gone missing whilst in our foster care in Bury St Edmunds, escaping through a tiny unnoticed gap in the catio fencing, that he must have forced his way through. 😿

Please see the poster for details. He is microchipped.

As you can imagine, everyone is worried sick about him. Please keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you see Leo. He is quite nervous of strangers so may not come to you, even if he's hungry, but if we know where he may be hiding out we can make arrangements to try and capture him.

Folks - Timmy still hasn't found his forever family! Can anyone help us to find them? He so deserves a new loving home of his own!

🐾 Meet Timmy – our handsome, blue-eyed boy!
Timmy is an affectionate boy who loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it😊. Sadly, he’s come into our care after not getting along with the resident dog and cat in his previous home. He’s now searching for a calm, loving pad where he can relax and shine✨.
He's used to a quiet rural home and would be happiest in a similar environment - away from busy roads and with cat flap access so he can explore at his leisure. He hasn’t lived with young children, so a peaceful adult-only home or with older children would suit him best.
Timmy needs to be the only pet 🐱💖 but his loving nature will more than make up for it!
Think you could offer Timmy the purr-fect home? 🏡💫 Get in touch - he can’t wait to meet you! 😻 You can call us on 01284 850887.
If you can’t offer him a home, you can still help by sharing this post. His forever family are out there and we need to find them!
Thank you!
