Five years ago I made a promise to myself to go hiking every week. To this date I have kept that promise and as a result my dogs have seen more of the world than the majority of humans on this planet have. ⛰️

Before I started hiking, believe it or not I did not like the cold weather, I did not like the rain and wind I didn’t like doing things on my own. ☔️

Why was this? 🤷‍♂️

Because I had been conditioned by my environment, school, family, friends, tv, social media etc. 🗣️

Every part of your personality comes down to your habits, the way you think, the way you speak, the way you act. 💯

For example every time I thought to myself i didn’t like the weather and then perhaps even said it out loud. I was literally feeding the existing habit, building stronger connections between the neurons to the point the thought was unconscious. 🧠

To deal with this I had to first become conscious of my unconscious. I then had to become conscious of my unconscious thoughts and deal with them every time they arose. 💫

To do this I like to play the perspective game for instance in this example people who live in hotter climates may love it to rain right now, as the heat could be unbearable. Plants and trees need to be watered Etc 🌦️

The more you counteract the subconscious the more connections you make between new neurons creating new habits - positive ones! I personally now see the rain as cleansing my soul! ❤️ This is also where “you should’ve got a hamster” originated from! 🐹

The point I’m trying to make is you can literally change the person you are whenever you like, yes it’s hard work and yes it’s uncomfortable but that’s how you grow into someone you are not right now. You can’t change your behaviour if you don’t change. 💪

Just like you can’t change your dogs behaviour if you don’t change. Everything is the same the context just changes! 💯

Learning how to reprogram my brain changed my life and it is my mission to help all of my clients understand how to do this also🙏
