Saying goodbye to Lula our baby girl of 11 years and thinking of all the funny memories she brought us. She’s very poorly and we have to put her to sleep at 6:15pm today 😭 please say a prayer 🙏 for her ###

Hello Doggy Treat Box fans, it’s been a long time since we have been actively advertising Doggy Treat Doggy Treat Box but as all the existing subscribers know we have been continuously shipping monthly boxes 📦 🐶 to you all and we hope your dogs have been enjoying them.
The reason for stopping advertising was a number of things. The main reason was that with the cost of living crisis hitting people just stopped buying as much (understandably) which made the cost to acquire a customer from our advertising to go way up ⬆️ 💵
We have also been dealing with having to pay big VAT bills which we almost got sorted now thankfully 🙏
And lastly you should know that we have been thinking 🤔 outside the box 📦 (Pardon The Pun) thinking about a way we could get around the increased cost 💲 it now takes to acquire a customer when using paid advertising and the fix to this problem we are hoping is to add on a second subscription box 📦 🐶 called Doggy Food Box.
You can see an image of the food we have in mind and we will be testing this soon and adding it on as an upsell when someone buys Doggy Treat Box. This way we can make more money meaning we can afford to pay them extra costs it’s costing to acquire a customer using Facebook advertising.
It also makes perfect sense to get both your Dog Treats and Dog Food from the same supplier I.E. us. Why not the quality is amazing. You already know how good our natural treats are but just wait to see how much your dogs like our food.
But I must stress the dog food will only be a test to start with and if all goes well we will roll it out for good.
However I understand that dog food does need to be added on in order for us to continue with Doggy Treat Box. The only worry I do have is the cost of the quality dog food we have gone with is very expensive for us to buy.
But we will see how it goes with the dog food trial. We are going to keep the costs down as much as we can but please remember the quality is very good.

My dog Lula in the picture might have cushing's disease 🥲 I’d never heard of it before last week.
The reason I found out she might have this is because over the last 6 months or so her belly got bigger. And she’s normally a very fussy eater but now eats anything and everything.
You might be about to see in this recent picture that I just took that her belly is bigger? She’s also panting 😮💨 a lot more on a night especially.
All the symptoms for cushing's disease 🦠 apparently? She got some blood 🩸 taken and we are waiting for confirmation but after a google it’s looking very likely to be cushing's disease I’m thinking. If it isn’t it would be a miracle.
Does anyone know of anyone else who has gone through this and what does the future look like for us? I’m also just looking for some advice and help please 🙏

Just to let everyone know we have arranged for all Christmas Doggy Treat Boxes 📦 🎄🐶❤️ to be put together and everything is ready to go.
WARMING! As you know Royal Mail are on strike right now but we have rang them to arrange pick-up and it’s now in Royal Mails hands 🙌 we have done our very best to get all boxes to everyone’s doors 🚪 in time for Christmas Day.
However because of the strikes we can’t guarantee a Christmas Day delivery unfortunately. But I’m personally confident Royal Mail will deliver in time.
P.S. I know we have not been very active and that’s because with the cost of living crisis it’s hit us hard and we have had to stop advertising. That doesn’t mean we stop looking after our loyal active subscribers.
We also have plans to turn ads back on with some improvements to Doggy Treat Box adding dog food on to help us stay alive as a business 📦🐶🙏
