Our team particularly prides itself on developing young riders, helping them to achieve their personal goals and build their confidence in an open and encouraging environment. Development of confidence often comes through encouraging students to ask every question that they haven't been brave enough to ask before, either for fear of feeling like a fool (definitely never the case) or because that k

nowledge has been presumed to have been acquired along the way. We also will only feel more confident if we sit well and understand how and why we should. Laying the foundations of our riding with both knowledge and a seat that is secure is vital in order to create the best rider you can be. For the horse to be in a position to facilitate this, we must recognise that he needs to be confident in his knowledge and his own body too. As a trainer, there is no greater joy than helping a partnership gain this feel and knowledge, taking them in the direction of their chosen passion and discipline to achieve their goals. This is what Westcroft Equestrian aims to do for our students (both equine and human), and is why we love and embrace our job. Our fantastic team of teachers, riders, carers and professionals all have the same passion and desire to work together, opening up knowledge and confidence. Hello!!!
First post for a very long time!

Many of you already know but for those that don't, I no longer have a livery yard for various reasons, so can't offer livery BUT I am available for freelance teaching.

If you feel like really working on your horse or ponies basic way of going and you position is what is the most important thing to get you started in your competition parties or you want to polish up on those things to really get the best out of your partnership, and generally get a much better understanding of eachother at any level I would love to help. I am available for all ages and levels, you are never to young or to old to start, learn or really improve.
So if anyone would like more information please feel free to send me a message. I very much look forward to hearing from you all.
