What's that Mum? We thought we'd measure Salida De La Luna, our cremello PRE Fusion filly, who we jointly own with the Aztec Stud. She's about 14.3hh at just a year old! Her dam Estanquera A, is by the well known Antares stallion, Claudio Vives, and her sire is Kinsky Abraham, who competes BE and BD.

Nadal, the perlino, has Claudio Vives on both sides of his pedigree. Claudio Vives is the sire of our palomino mare, Estanquera A, who we jointly own with the Aztec Stud. So, of course, he is the Grandsire of Luna, her cremello PRE Fusion filly, who, with her breeding, should be able to turn her hoof to anything.

This is worth watching just for the Irish commentary! But, Didi, the second horse jumping here, ridden by Michael Whitaker, is also the 2 x Great Grandsire of our cremello PRE Fusion filly, Luna, who we co-own with the Aztec Stud. Didi had a very successful International showjumping career, winning, amongst many other things, the Hickstead King George V Gold Cup in 1989. He also competed at the Barcelona Olympics.

I managed to take some photos of our cremello PRE Fusion filly, Luna, yesterday, despite being nearly blown over by the wind! Luna wasn't at all bothered by the high winds though. We co-own her with our friends at the Aztec Stud. She's 6 months old now, and already getting pretty tall!

Luna has been practising her half pass! She is by Kinsky Abraham out of Estanquera A, who we jointly own with the Aztec Stud. Kinsky Abraham's Great Grandsire is Didi, who, ridden by Michael Whitaker, was a very successful International showjumping stallion.

It was lovely to see our good friends, Karen and Ray, from the Aztec Stud, today. Karen took some lovely photos of our jointly owned PRE mare, Estanquera A, and her cremello filly, Luna, by Kinsky Abraham.

We are very pleased to announce, that our lovely palomino PRE mare, Estanquera A, who we jointly own with the Aztec Stud, produced a beautiful cremello filly on Wednesday evening. As she was born at the very respectable hour of 9.30pm, we are calling her Aztec Salida Del La Luna (Moonrise). She is by Kinsky Abraham, who competes at BD and BE, and stands at Brackenspa Stud. She will be registered as a PRE Fusion. She's a lovely friendly filly, and with her breeding, should be able to turn her hoof to anything!

Silverbrooke Jubileo went off to his new home today. He loaded really well. We jointly bred him with the Aztec Stud and Ray transported him to his new home, where Leo is going to be the foundation stallion for their dilute breeding program. Leo has grown a bit since we took this video!

We were pleased to see so many young horses with Candau breeding in their pedigree, and so closely related to our stallion, Macedonio-MAC, well placed on the ANCCE Young Dressage Horse Selection Test Final, including one sired by his brother, Urdidor III. The legacy of Mac's sire, Legionario XIX, lives on in his descendants.

We had a brilliant day on Sunday, with Karen Collison, watching Aztec Iconico compete in the MCI Nationals. Iconico had already been placed 1st in the Primera class the previous day. He then went on to be 3rd in the Novilla and finished YH Reserve Champion! This is an amazing result, as the classes were large, and it was only Iconico's 3rd ever outing! It was lovely to see Jo and Iconico, plus meet Grace, Gail, and of course, Max. Congratulations to the JLB Andalusians team!

She is the dam of Pomelo V, and so the granddam of Silverbrooke Jubileo, Aztec Principio, Naranjo XIII, Aztec Chillido and Aztec Iconico. All of whom we have jointly bred with the Aztec Stud.
