Good Afternoon 🙌
Apologies for the late pupdate, been a busy day!
Whiskey (previously The Grinch) is officially 5 weeks old today 🥳🥳🥳
Over the last week, Whiskey has met new people, played with the pack, got into the swing of eating soaked kibble rather than just Dutch’s milk, he’s experienced loud sounds, the wind 💨, new and novel sounds, smells and textures too! (It’s a busy life being a puppy 🐶)
I shouldn’t be surprised that he isn’t phased by much, being a Dutch baby as all her babies are basically bombproof! And the things he IS phased by, he bounces back so quickly! Little resilient boy 😍
The weather this week has been too cold and windy to get him outside playing but that’s the aim for next week, some outside playtime! (Which will also mean the continuation of toilet training - he currently uses his astroturf and we’ve had 2 nights of no accidents in his bed area 🥳)
Today we have introduced the puppy crate and I’ve already caught him taking a nap in there! 🥹🙌 so over the next week, we will continue crate training to help his future family and to give him an essential life skill 🥰
Over the next week, he will continue to meet new people, be introduced to formal handling and more grooming tools, and of course continue to play, explore and experience life in the house and around him 🥰
