Serious post, who do I ring about a goose with a very broken wing? Not managed to catch it because he's quick and I'm chubby so will need someone stealthier than myself to collect but he must be in a lot of pain and the rest of his geese mates have left him.

Paddington the Malamute had his first appointment with me today and oh my dog what a floof! He's coming back to finish his appointment with me because he did decide half way though that he had enough and therefore was going to lick me and smush his face into my face until I understood that he was finished for today thank you very much 😁🐾 Here's his before pic because well, you know 🥰

6 month old Benji came in for his first ever appointment with me today and by the look of that smile you wouldn't know that he was a nervous pup with the acid rain (the bath) and the scary snake (the dryer). He wants to know if you like his smile and his bandana? His mummy made the bandana especially (and sells them!! ) and Benji made the smile all by himself (he will sell them and probably his bandana and also his mum for treats) 🥰 🐾

This blind Westie is an old lady called Roxy and she is definitely one of a kind! What she lacks in sight she makes up for in utter fearlessness (will happily take on a shouting match with next door's 2 dogs) and thrill seeking (why wouldn't a blind dog want to cliff dive from the table?!). My nerves are usually shot by the time Dangerous Brian here leaves so I'm very glad she's relaxed 😂🥰

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go for a lie down.

Can anyone recommend a reputable dog walker in the Kirton/Swineshead area that has experience with dog reactive dogs? Can I ask politely that you only recommend someone that you've used personally or that you are certain has experience with dog reactive dogs as the reactive part is a necessity.

For all the stressed out XL BULLY owners who are stressing about the third party insurance for your fur babies and if your going to be able to afford it , go on the DOGS TRUST website and join their companion club it costs just £25 a year and your dog is covered from the minute your payment goes through , you are also covered for up to 4 dogs in your household …..just 1 less thing to worry about.

And that's a wrap! I'm now away from the Salon until Thursday the 4th January so will reply to any calls / messages / smoke signals when I return.

Also, I just want to say thank you to my fabulous customers for your custom this year, and thank you for your wonderful cards and gifts over the last few days for not only myself but my son too, it means more than you know that you ask after him and care about him too.

I hope you all have a great Christmas with however you're spending it and please give your pups a snuggle from me 🥰

Hi everyone,

This week is what is fondly known as hell week in the dog grooming world 🐾🙃🐾, it is our busiest time of year and the most stressful. With that in mind please see below for a little housekeeping doom and gloom.

Most importantly I need to ask that you are prompt with your appointment times, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 as I am back to back with dogs, there are no gaps, so if you arrive early you will disrupt the dog currently finishing their appointment.

Please be aware that if you are 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 I will not have time to complete your appointment and we will need to rearrange your appointment.

Lateness and no shows will occur a £𝟭𝟱 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲 and a 𝟱𝟬% 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁 to be paid before being able to rebook. I am completely full now until the end of January, I do have a cancellation list for existing customers but it is unlikely that there will be any space become available before Christmas.

Please ring the doorbell at the gate and wait to hear my dulcet tones before coming in, just in case please.
