Back in June, we had the pleasure of hosting our second Branch Partner Conference, an amazing opportunity for Medivet and our dedicated Branch Partners to come together.

Our quarterly events are designed to foster collaboration and growth. While three of these are divisional meetings, the fourth Branch Partner Conference is a special occasion where all Branch Partners across the business gather in one place, along with our valued suppliers and key Support Centre departments. This event is a platform for sharing insights and strengthening connections.

We were thrilled to celebrate our successes, take a look at our year ahead, and network with our teams, as well as hearing from our special guest speakers, alongside our Chief Operating Officer, Andy Cresswell. In March, we launched our commitment to care for our people as much as the animals we look after.

We listened to what our colleagues told us mattered most and have created a plan around this to improve the experience of working with Medivet. This has seen us launch a variety of new benefits focused on supporting the health and well-being of our colleagues, with more to come!

June marked the launch of our new internal benefits platform, empowering colleagues to review and select their benefits, and add their dependants. Celebrating Success - Our Graduate Development Programme Earns Accreditation

Thanks to the hard work of our Early Careers team, our Graduate Development Programme is now accredited by the International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS) which is an amazing achievement and reflects the dedicated support Graduates receive when they join us.

Our graduates are an integral part of our Medivet community and over the last few years our Programme has gone from strength to strength with Graduates playing a key role in our future success.

The Programme supports our graduates each and every day and has been designed to ease them into the world of work with dedicated training and mentoring whilst offering clear development and progression to kick-start a rewarding and fulfilling career with us.

We’re a Winner in the British Training Awards 2023 and here's the team that won it!

If you hadn't heard already, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve been named a Winner in the British Training Awards 2023.

The British Training Awards is an annual campaign that sets out to discover and celebrate the individuals and teams that are truly passionate about L&Ds role in building a thriving workforce.

This year, just over 160 entries were received from organisations across the UK, and so competition to be named a Winner proved to be very tough. Firms taking part ranged from start-up innovators to public sector heroes, tech superstars, global titans and everything in between.

Winners were revealed at a special celebration event in London, hosted by comedian Sally-Anne Hayward.

We are super proud of our Early Careers Team and our amazing Graduate Development Programme thank you Rhian Littlehales, Donna Cotton, Vicky King, Julius Neuman, Karen Cook, Jan De la Rey, Laura Bates and all of the amazing vets on our programme 😍

We’re a Finalist in the British Training Awards 2023

We are delighted to announce that we’ve been named a Finalist in the British Training Awards 2023 in the ‘Early Careers Initiative of the Year’ category, for our amazing Graduate Development Programme!

With a range of categories including ‘Training Initiative of the Year’, ‘Early Careers Initiative of the Year’ and ‘Leader of the Year’ the British Training Awards 2023 sets out to discover and celebrate the organisations and individuals that are truly passionate about L&Ds role in building a thriving workforce.

No it's not Christmas but your Christmases could come all at once if you join our amazing Graduate Development Programme at our South Harrow Branch

The experienced and friendly team is made up of 2 vets, 3 nurses and 1 receptionist (and 2 practice cats!) Nicola our Branch Partner qualified from RVC in 2009, Krisha our Assistant Vet from Surrey in 2021. Krisha took part in our programme at South Harrow and stayed on, now she has her own EMS students to support and train! Lucie our Head RVN and Nicola have worked together for over 10 years. Elisabetta and Shannon are fantastic SVNs who are super helpful and knowledgeable. Tracey our receptionist brings a warm vibe to the clinic.

We are a diverse, welcoming team, between us we speak 4 different languages in addition to English. We work hard but also have a fun together, often going on practice outings (including international trips!) and dinners.

We have recently undergone a fresh refurbishment so you will work in a modern comfortable environment which includes digital x-rays, and ultrasound (P.O.C.US). South Harrow sits at the foot of Harrow on the Hill, on Metropolitan tube line in North London - only a 20-minute tube ride to central London (famous for Harrow Boys School, popular filming location including Harry Potter).
