Rexs friend Simba the lab joined todays first pack walk as a one off. He’s a shy nervous boy who can be a little bit reactive when he feels threatened. He was so jumpy at first and wouldn’t even let me catch him in the house but with a bit of guidance, bribery and the help of my amazing pack who know just what to do as they’re all so well socialised it wasn’t long before he was off lead and attempting some play. He learnt really quickly that he didn’t have to take charge and protect himself and when he got a little flustered he’d came and lean on my leg. Some days, this job is just so rewarding 💜

The second pack didn’t get to meet any new friends but they did get to go wild with old friends and of course, got lots of treats and fusses from their aunty Alicia. Enjoy the pics ###

What a rainy old morning we’ve had, we were all almost washed away it was so heavy 🤣 there’s a walk me and the dogs love to do but we don’t do it very often as there’s lots of huge puddles, streams and ponds that get the dogs too wet however since we were all completely soaked anyway we made the most of it and went looking for even more water on our favourite walk, every cloud has a silver lining 😬 Enjoy todays pics, there’s also some from yesterday as I didn’t get a chance to post them. Well it’s been a giddy old Friday if not slightly X rated…….. Terry, Scooby and Winston were at it like rabbits which is a first for any of those 3, they all looked like they were having the time of their lives so although they may not have covered as many miles as they usually do, there will deffo be no complaints from any of them 🤣. We spent today exploring deer trails through the long grass, I think without the deer most of my walks would be too overgrown for us to do at the minute. As always, the dogs loved all the smells and bouncing through the long grass spooking pheasants. Enjoy todays pics and have a lovely weekend ###

Here’s some pics from yesterdays lovely lot. We had 4 dogs on holiday yesterday and then a few other regulars taking an extra day, I just love how they can all mix without me having to worry about who’s met who before, they’re all extremely well socialised, well rounded pups so other than being excited at new faces they all went straight into sniffing, playing, respecting one another and having the time of their lives. BIG BiG THANkS to their owners for allowing their dogs to socialise and to just be dogs, there’s far to many dogs out there that are being deprived of this basic essential that allows them to have a genuinely good life. ###

I was excited about a nice fresh day of walks in the rain today but didn’t count on all of the bushes and trees on my secret routes sagging so low under the weight of the rain that I got a good few wet leaves in the face and had to do most of the first pack walk bent down so I could fit down the paths 🫣 it was like wading through the rainforest. Still wouldn’t swap it for an office job and the dogs seemed to enjoy the change in weather and all the new fresh smells it brings. Enjoy todays pics, I hope you all manage to stay drier than me 🤣 ###

Sky the Rotweiler did so well today, she voluntarily went for a paddle in the stream all of her own accord. If we’d have even gone by water without a lead on in the past she’d have ran for the hills, she was absolutely terrified of water and loud noises bless her, she’s come so far and must feel so much better not being anxious all of the time.

Pip the pointer is retiring from walks on Friday, after many many years of walks I think I’m not going to be the only one to miss her 💜😭

Best friends reunited yesterday after Rubys had a week off due to being spayed 💜

Ruby the staffie has had her first pack walk today after being spayed, as you can see she’s not easing herself in gently, this was her in the last ten minuets of her hours walk 🫣 it’s safe to say she’s happy to be back out with her friends 💜💜

Think this lot were glad to see the back of the weekend so they could get back out with their pack xx

Lots of funny little friendships form between the dogs on their pack walks, Minnie, Arnie and Ruby have all become the best of friends 💜💜💜

Nice bit of wildlife on this mornings pack walk. the dogs didn’t even notice they were there.
