Out of office now on for a couple of weeks as we head off on our final big teaching trip of 2024.
We haven't shared a hoopers video for a while so as we finally got around to doing a little bit of hoopers last week at the lovely Top Farm Hoopers Club, here is a short vid of Impulse showing how his agility training has transferred into his hoopers - he has done very little hoopers training, but the skills are the same :)

Little Impulse is gradually getting his confidence back after a total shutdown on Wednesday where he struggled to even do a single jump in training
Thursday he was a bit better but not right.
Today I am super super proud of him 🤩😍
He was much much happier in the ring again!!!!
On top of that, he had a near foot perfect run!
I haven't really taught round the backs yet (only the foundations) cos he's still a baby... it was a bloomin long way and I just couldn't get there to help him
So so proud of this baby though! Hard course today and he was super 😍🤩

We had a lovely team :)
Agnes, Heidi, Pauline and myself.
Teams works a little differently here:
You run with the baton and must do the changeover between dogs.
An E or a DQ as they call it, is 10f as long as you correct it. Failure to correct means the whole team is out.
Time starts and stops with the first and last dogs so I opted to go last so that I didn't add lots to the time due to the baton changeover - pixel happily will go finish a course without me 🤣🤣
Fun atmosphere! Fun course!
Was super chuffed with Pixel as we only had the 1 blip and I knew it would be super tricky to get that particular jump with me so far back due to the angles
Seriously proud of this lil dude! His first ever team run and he waited on the start with the other dog running so I could get the baton 😍🤩

In Bern, in Switzerland, there is a daily tradition of being swept/floating down the River Aare
It's a beautiful turquoise river that on a nice day has dinghy, donuts and other boating and inflatable paraphernalia floating down it as well as swimmers
Many even go for the whole day! Starting right up near lake Thunersee, and floating down, stopping off at points to bbq their lunch before floating further downstream!
So we had to try it!!
After Pixel had finished his runs on Saturday around lunchtime, we went and jumped into the river and swam/floated downstream :)
We did 2 big float swims and 1 short one back to the car haha
He loved it! Obviously dogs cant tread water so i had to swim to keep up with him rather than float, and i was directing him left and right etc so he didnt get too far ahead! Can't wait to see if Kats pics came out :)
