How has the beautiful Martha not found her forever home? She is the sweetest wee kitty with so much personality. She does not like to be lifted and is not yet a lap cat but Iām pretty convinced this will come in time as she just loves attention and gives me the best greeting every time I go into the adult cat room. Time to introduce this wee ragamuffin Hamish! Born here to a feral mum, he was 1 of 4 but sadly his 3 siblings all unexpectedly died at only days old š¢ Hamish has Cerebellar Hypoplasia but itās not as extreme as Margotās little one Bella. He is the sweetest little dude and I think he would be best homed with another cat or to a home where there is already a friendly cat that would accept a feline brother. He would be safest being an indoor only cat but somewhere with a secure garden where he could play outside supervised.

Daisy was loving the head massage from Maria this morning! I now have Maria and Katrina come on a Saturday to help out which is such a big help š„° 3 adult cats went off to their new homes during the week, 3 legged Keith went on Monday and today crazy Brian and shy Charlie went together, I hope they all settle in well to their new forever homes. Tiddles was back at the vets yesterday for a recheck on her bloods and an abdomen scan to check for tumours. Thankfully her bloods are back to normal so sheās no longer anaemic and the scan showed no tumours were present. The scan did show a thickening of her gut so sheās back on one of the tablets for 6 weeks, lick e lix to the rescue as sheās not overly cooperative when itās comes to taking tablets!! Payment for treatments like this is what the money raised from the scratch cards help with. Would love to get the kids car scratch card filled so someone can win the fab childrenās car.

This lovely little lady is Snowy, sheās very timid and will lie curled up on the chair or one of the beds and look very sad, until you touch her that is!!! She needs a quiet home and lots of patience as she will hide at first and will take a while to settle in to her new home. She does get mucky eyes but theyāre easily cleaned with damp cotton wool.

So Tiddles is normally super chatty and always looking pets but last week she suddenly was very flat and just not herself at all. She got a long lasting antibiotic injection which perked her up but then she was flat again so back to the vet on Friday for bloods and IV fluids. Her bloods showed she was Anaemic so she stayed in overnight on the fluids and steroids. Picked her up on Saturday and was so happy to see the wee woman back to her noisy wee self! Sheās currently on medication for 2 weeks to treat the anaemia but sheās not out of the woods yet so please send her good thoughts that the anaemia is the only thing wrong š¤š»
Meg joined Tiddles on the 1st vet visit to have her teeth checked, she went in the next day for a dental to get 2 teeth out. Thankfully she is very happy now and is going off to her new home with her shiny gnashers on Wednesday.
Expensive week but thank you as always to the fab staff at Flynn Vets for looking after my rescues so well.
