🌿🌳 Greenhalgh Canine Club Update

Very excited to say we’ve got a rather large order for a variety of dog-safe trees to transform our space into a beautiful, enriched environment for you and your furry friends to enjoy.

No more plain open fields—soon, you’ll have a lovely, natural setting to walk, play, and relax in! 🌿🐕 Whether it’s shade for the summer, seasonal colour, or just a more inviting space, these trees will make a big difference creating a calming environment for all our future visitors whilst providing natural sensory enrichment for all the dogs 🐶😊

We can’t wait to see them planted and how they will transform the space 🌱

🎆🎇Firework Season Guide for Your Pup

As a dog owner whose dog is absolutely petrified of fireworks we know 1st hand how upsetting it can be to see them so distressed.
Fireworks can be scary for our pups, but with a few proactive steps, we can try to help them feel calm & safe.

Ahead of Bonfire Night, we have teamed up with Magic Classical for the pawfect canine calming playlist 🎶

Calming Pet Sounds, presented by Emma B, plays relaxing classical music to help you create a calm and soothing atmosphere for your dog to relax in. Every dog responds differently to fireworks but staying calm and using music to mask the sounds outside can help improve behaviour during fireworks season 🎆

The playlist is available on the Rayo app or you can tell your smart speaker to 'Ask Rayo to play Calming Pet Sounds'.

And don’t forget our tips 👇
• Plan for a cosy night-in – close the curtains, put on the radio, create a safe space for your dog and prepare with toys and treats.
• Walk your dog before it gets dark and never force your dog outside during fireworks.
• If your dog wants to hide, let them. But if your dog seeks reassurance, calmly give them attention and comfort. Research shows that ignoring them won’t help.
• Give your dog any prescribed medication before fireworks start.
• Check your house and garden are escape-proof. Your dog could try to run away if they’re scared so check your doors, windows and fences are secure.

🐾Apologies for the radio silence on here lately, however we now have some exciting news to share with you all from South View Dog Field!

🐾We have finally officially received the planning permission for our new secure dog field and we couldn’t be more thrilled to finally get started.

🐾 As we want to make sure everything is spot on and the best place for all your dogs, we’ll be hard at work over the Autumn/Winter months to prepare, with the goal of opening in the coming spring.

🐾Thank you for all your support so far, and we can’t wait to welcome you and your furry friends soon!
