Well what a corker of a weekend we’ve had! ☀️ It definitely felt like Spring…finally! I feel like being English, it’s true that we can’t help but discuss the weather. We have had (what feels like) 6 months of constant rain, grey skies and just general 😩 weather! So when we get days or weekends where it’s actually warm enough to sit out in the garden..with a tshirt on..eating an ice cream!..and with a naked sunbathing whippet..you just feel the need to share the good vibes! ✨🙌😁 Who’s with me?! 👌

The 1st of February is ‘World Galgo Day’.
This date marks the end of the Spanish hunting season.
Every year in Spain, tens of thousands of Galgos, also know as Spanish Greyhounds, are bred for the sole purpose of hunting, often living a short life of fear and cruelty.
At the end of the season, no longer of any use, the Galgos are killed or abandoned.

Please lend your voice to help raise awareness of the suffering of thousands of Galgos, by posting a photo of your pet or yourself, alongside a sign that says as well as adding the hashtag to the caption.

Our Story

Clothing & Accessories for all Sighthounds in the U.K

The Trendy Whippet was started by Chloe after falling in love with Sighthounds. We got Ren the Blue Whippet as a puppy and she quickly became the most important thing in our lives. Especially when it came to wrapping her up in the Winter. This is what inspired me to start The Trendy Whippet, with Ren being the main model. I wanted to create a one-stop shop for Sighthound essentials while keeping the business small and personal. Since then, we have broadened out to supply all kinds of Clothing and Accessories for Sighthounds and their owners, from knitted hats to humans Whippet Christmas jumpers.

We then decided we wanted another hound to join our pack, and when we saw the advert for Lola the Saluki x Whippet x Greyhound in a rescue center in Worcester, we couldn't resist!

We are a small business based in South West England supplying Coats, Jumpers, Collars, Accessories and more that are specifically designed for Whippets, Lurchers, Greyhounds, Italian Greyhounds and other sighthounds.
