We did it! Until arriving at the zoo, they had never been able to act or live like bears.

After nearly 8 months of fundraising we managed to raise nearly £80,000 and build a brand new state of the art bear enclosure for the 3 ex circus bears, who for the past 20 years had endured many hardships travelling round Europe as part of a circus. Having worked with them for a year to help with stress, trauma and steriotypes associated with living in small confined spaces, the bears have not on

ly shown the first signs of acting naturally, but have hibernated this winter! They are a huge cost to the Zoo, so your ongoing support is greatly appreciated and any monies donated will help with their upkeep.
