Does your dog pull on the lead?
Some useful advice in this article, it does point out that training a dog to heel does 'Take a great deal of patience.' That's definitely true and failing to be consistent (which I know I'm guilty of) will just make the whole thing take longer.

I love this picture of our Oscar, when we first brought him home his eyes were ice blue. I think I can just see them starting to change colour here.Today they are a beautiful golden colour.
