Incredible progress and update from the owner of this horse. Here we have a horse which looks pretty normal to bridle, however a couple of you may remember the virtually impossible to bridle horse, who used to throw his head in the air upon seeing the bridle! There’s been some serious work put in behind the scenes, which has led to this type of success. Collaborating with a promising emerging para-rider has been a privilege here at Horse Help UK. Our latest venture involved a young dressage horse who was grappling with loading challenges.
Within an hour of training, I witnessed remarkable progress unfold. The once difficult to load horse who constantly swung his quarters out to one side evading going anywhere near the inside of the box, elegantly navigated into the box with newfound confidence. This display of trust and cooperation between horse and owner was truly inspiring.

Wow 🤩 what an absolute superstar Annie was today. We ventured out on a long hack to get that time under saddle, but we also tested her with a new rider too - this is such an important stage of her development, that she learns to trust another human on her back before she’s handed back over to the owner.
For today’s riding I’d like to thank Polly for doing a fab job and staying relaxed and super calm throughout, whilst I offered direction from the ground where needed.
Onwards and upwards for Annie, the future is looking bright for this superstar of a horse 🐴 😊
