Aspra’s Christmas Wish
Despite the gloomy December weather, we have some wonderful news to share! After a successful home check this afternoon, a lovely family has expressed strong interest in adopting Aspra. They’ll be meeting her and her fosterer, Maisee, on Friday afternoon.
If everything goes well, Aspra will be settling into her new home just in time for Christmas, and hopefully enjoying turkey dinner with her new family.
As you can see, as soon as Aspra heard the good news she started her beauty regime and giving herself a thorough wash to look her very best.

Kittens Looking for Their Forever Home!
Meet Polly and her brother Shane, a sweet sister-and-brother duo who are now ready for adoption!
At just 10 weeks old, these two are slightly timid but growing in confidence every day. They love to play (as all kittens do!) and will bring endless joy to the right family.
✅ Microchipped ✅ Flea/worm treated ✅ First vaccination completed (second to follow) ✅ Neuter/spay required at 4 months
Polly and Shane will need a family who can be at home to keep them company during their first few days of settling in. A home with older children and a garden would be fabulous for them to explore and grow in confidence.
Could you be the family to give Polly and Shane the loving home they deserve?

Meet Arthur – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Home

Arthur is almost 10 years old and has had a tough start in life. Found as a tatty stray on the streets, he’s now been given the care he deserves. Neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, and wormed and is ready for his forever home.
Arthur is FIV-positive, but that won't stop him from enjoying life. What he really needs is a safe, loving environment where he can be the only cat. His dream home would have a catio or secure run, giving him the chance to enjoy fresh air while staying safe indoors.
Despite his past, Arthur has so much love to give. Could you be the one to show him the comfort and kindness he’s been waiting for?
If you’d like to know more or think you could offer Arthur the home he deserves, please email: [email protected]

White cats are truly special companions, often described as calm, gentle, and affectionate. They love curling up with their families, yet also appreciate moments of quiet independence. Sometimes they can be a little shy with visitors, but once they feel safe, their sweet personalities shine through.
These fluffy beauties often have striking eyes in shades of blue, green, gold, or copper. Some even have two different colours, such as one blue and one gold eye, a rare trait called heterochromia. White cats themselves are quite uncommon, making up only about 5% of the cat population, with pure white cats being the rarest of all.
Across cultures, white cats are seen as symbols of good fortune. In Russia, they’re believed to bring wealth and prosperity, while in many places it’s considered lucky to have a white cat cross your path.
In short, white cats are loyal, affectionate, and make wonderful family members, sometimes even bringing a little extra luck along the way!

Good News for Margo & Iris!

After several home checks yesterday, we’re delighted to share that we’ve found a wonderful family who we feel will be perfect for these beautiful sisters.
This afternoon, Margo and Iris and their fosterers Fiona and Gerry had the chance to meet Nicola, Oliver, Zach and Ben. The girls were on their very best behaviour, curious, affectionate, and clearly enjoying the attention. The family absolutely adored them.
We are over the moon that Nicola, Oliver, Zach and Ben will be welcoming Margo and Iris into their home. The girls will be heading off to their new family on Friday, ready to start the next chapter of their lives together.
A very big thank you goes to Fiona and Gerry, who have spent so much time over the past 7 days interacting with the girls and helping them shine. Your dedication has made all the difference in preparing them for this happy outcome.
Thank you to everyone who has supported their journey, we couldn’t be happier with this result!

The Importance of Microchips in Cats

Microchipping is one of the most effective ways to ensure a lost cat can be reunited with their family. A tiny chip, no bigger than a grain of rice, holds vital information that links a cat back to their owner.
But a microchip is only as useful as the information attached to it.

If you move house or change your phone number, it’s essential to update your details with the chip registration company. Out-of-date records can mean delays or even prevent your cat from being returned home.

If you rehome your cat, the chip details must be updated to reflect the new owner. This ensures the right person can be contacted if the cat is found.

Think of a microchip as a permanent ID tag, but unlike a collar, it can’t fall off or get lost. Keeping the records current is the key to making sure it works when your cat needs it most.

In the UK, it is now a legal requirement that all cats are microchipped by the age of 20 weeks, with owner details kept up to date in an approved database.

UPDATE: Great news! The cat was microchipped, and we’ve been in touch with his owner. He actually lives just around the corner on the next road. The owner has kindly asked that finders avoid feeding him and try to discourage him from coming through the cat flap.

Meet Sisters Margo & Iris – Ready for Adoption!
Yesterday these gorgeous 9 month old sisters met Vet Ali for their health check. He was delighted with them both – though he did note they’re a little on the chunky side for their age! Portion control is the key, and fosterer Fiona is already helping them stay on track.
Margo and Iris have settled beautifully in their foster home, but we’d love to see them in their forever home before Christmas. They have different personalities but are incredibly close, so they must be rehomed together.
• Playful, affectionate, and nap enthusiasts
• Fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, flea & worm treated, and health checked
• Love watching the world go by from the window and will enjoy garden adventures once allowed outside.
These sisters can offer a family endless play, companionship, and love. Could that family be yours?
📞 Call or WhatsApp: 07946 678264 or Email: [email protected] please leave your name and number.
Let’s make this Christmas extra special by finding Margo and Iris the loving home they deserve.
