Bellatrix was one of Jinny's 5 kittens 🖤 Adopted in May last year, she's certainly grown! She shares her home with Four Paws Pal, Albus and they are good friends 🐾

Echo (along with furry friend Nell who isn't a black cat so isn't featured today) found their forever home 5 years ago, and Panther who is now called Smol, joined the family, making them a Four Paws trio, in December 2022 🐾
First up to feature on are the wonderful duo, Skittles & Jet 🖤
Skittles & Jet were both adopted 8 years ago in April 2016 and they love life in their fur-ever home 🐾

Basil is certainly a character, and as you can see, he gets up to all sorts!
He's extremely loved by his wonderful cat-parents who spoil him rotten, and after coming into our care as a stray, he definitely deserves it too! He is the best boy 🐾
Last October, beautiful Minnie (previously Starby) found her purr-ever home 💛 Just look at how adorable she is, and her little toe beans 😻

⭐ NATIONAL CHECK THE CHIP DAY! ⭐
Today is a reminder for all cat owners - are your cat's microchip details up to date? Check them today! 😸
In June, it became law that all owned cats must be microchipped from 20 weeks old, even if they are indoor only cats.
Cats that are microchipped have a much higher chance of being reunited with their owner should they go missing and it's very important that your details are kept up to date.
Remember - a microchip is only as effective as the contact details on the database that the chip is registered with! 🐾
Handsome chunky chap Dougie found his purr-fect home in February and we recently received some lovely update photos! 😻
Some of you may recall that Dougie was found wandering the streets as a stray - who would believe it! He has such a wonderful nature and is certainly a character! 💙

She loves seeing the vet and getting lots of fuss and attention!

Some of you that have followed us for a while may remember that gorgeous, then 8 year old, Millie found her purrfect home with Roy back in July 2020 🐾
Roy absolutely adores Millie, she is his world 😻 They love each other very much and he wouldn't be without his precious girl 💛
☀ Yesterday was very warm, but it's going to be even hotter today, potentially reaching over 30 degrees ☀
Whilst some of us might like the hot weather, don't forget that our feline friends have coats on all year long! We're re-sharing some of our top tips to help your cat out during the hot weather:
😺 create some shady spots both inside and outside if they want to get away from the sun.
😺 Pop some lick-e-lix treats in the fridge! Your cat may enjoy them in the heat if they are a little cooler
😺 make sure there is good ventilation in the house, however be mindful of how wide you leave your windows open, especially if your cat is indoor only. It can be cooler to keep your curtains / blinds closed.
😺 put down plenty of water, both in the house and in the garden - a couple of ice cubes can be put in water bowls to keep the water cooler
😺 don't leave wet cat food out for too long - it will attract flies!
😺 if your cat has white ears and goes outside, put a pet-safe sun screen on them
to prevent their ears burning or getting sore
😺 if you have purchased a cool mat but your cat wont lay on it, try popping it under a towel or thin blanket to encourage them to use it.
😺 keep active playtime to a minimum during the daytime
😺 groom them - getting any excess, loose hair off their coats
😺 please make sure you check sheds, playhouses, garages etc before closing them up in the evening - your cat or a neighbouring cat may have decided it's a cool place to catnap during the day!

Meet our teeny tiny newbies - Alvin, Simon & Theodore ❤️ These little guys are just 2 weeks old, and they were brought into us on Saturday afternoon after being found by a very clever and gentle dog, in the middle of nowhere with no mummy in sight.
