The difference between a standard coat mouse and a rex 🐭

Rex mice carry the "Astrex" gene which gives them a curly coat, unfortunately the pretty curls do not last forever and as a mouse reaches maturity they begin to drop out. This leaves behind little waves and slightly thicker fur.

Our goal with future rex breeding is to increase the time before these curls drop whilst still maintaining our plan for blue tricolour babies! 🖤

🌊 Ocean themed names 🌊

Now Muffin's babies have more defined coats we have given them nicknames until they go to their new homes - this is easier for us to talk about each baby 😊

We're still in the process of contacting our waitlist for the girls but there is no waitlist for the boys! 🐭🖤

💙 Gender announcement! 💙

We have 3 little boys from Muffin's litter. Our waitlist for the girls means that all will be reserved very quickly however, there are spaces for these guys to be reserved!

From left to right (colours will be confirmed within the next week):
•Pink eyed white rex, with the possibility to be siamese, splashed or pied.
•Black eyed pied rex, possibly blue agouti
•Black eyed pied standard coat, possibly blue agouti

💙 Male mice can be a good option for those that aren't sure if they want to commit to a rolling group of females - therefore, a nice introduction to mice.

💙 Males can be friendlier due to living alone so are more appreciative of human contact (the father of these boys is my personal favourite to play with)

Wednesday night, I was admitted to hospital with possible appendicitis and today I'm having surgery for removal.

Hoping to be home with my family and all the baby mice soon (my partner is currently dealing with all of our babies) 🖤

We love refilling our home made mouse mix!

Creating your own mix allows you to cater to the needs of your mice and means that everytime you refill, you can add something different to give them a fun variety!

All of our babies will be sent home with some of our personal mix so that you can transition them onto the food of your choice or alternatively, contact me and I can create a bulk batch for your new mouse/mice at an additional cost 😊
