As glad as we are to see this beautiful weather it is very hot for all doggos at the moment ☀️
Please if you would like to rearrange your session due to the heat can you give us 24 hours notice, I will also be happy to move sessions to other times and dates 📆

LOOKING FOR A RECOMMENDATION
Does anyone have any recommendations for mowing contractors…must not be agricultural tractor and trailed mower, only amenity specific tractors and large scale mowers.
Looking for our 6 acre field to be cut short, much like a football pitch/sports ground

***GATE UPDATE***

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As some of you are aware we had a small accident at our North Paddock recently meaning that our electric car park gate is currently out of action. Customers are recieveing daily messages regarding this and we are working hard to get this fixed as soon as possible.
Please can I ask that customers still respect the rules of the field. It is VITAL that you do NOT enter the car park until the previous customer has left. This is not because I am trying to inconvenience you, this is for safety and to ensure anyone using our fields with reactive dogs has the space that they need.
This notice is posted on our booking page and also on a large sign attached to the keypad at the field entrance. Please respect it.
Thank you to those who are following the rules 🙏🏼 if you need to ensure you have a secure car park, for the moment please book our south paddock!

Field Update…
Ladies and Gents, please be reassured that we are very aware how wet it is at the moment! We have been chatting to other local dog field owners and it seems we are all in the same position ☔️🌧️
Please note that the moment the fields are dry enough to drive on, and in, we will be doing a lot of maintenance to get the paddocks back up to the standard we want them to be…the rain has very much challenged us this winter so far and I’m not sure it’s done yet, but have no fear we will be back and looking sparkling in no time! ✨

For your information North paddock is much drier than South!! Bassingbourn is also much drier than South!
Social Session fun!
After listening to feedback from all of you with regard to our social sessions we have made the following changes…
Saturdays midday - this session will now be for small and medium breed dogs
Saturdays 1pm - this session will now be for large and Extra Large breed dogs

After much consultation with insurance and legal companies we are pleased to be able to announce our XL Bully Policy for all Holly Lodge Dog Field sites...
Dogs under The Dangerous Dogs Act (1991) must comply with the following in order to use our fields...
⭐️ You must provide us with your certificate of exemption and liability insurance certificates for your dog, please email these to [email protected] at time of booking
⭐️ The dog MUST be neutered
⭐️ The dog MUST be micro chipped
⭐️ The dog MUST be kept on a lead and muzzled until inside the field and until the outer gate is auto-locked. The dog MUST be placed back on a lead and muzzled when returning to the car after a session
⭐️ We will operate a 1:1 dog to handler policy. One banned breed dog to one handler. All handlers MUST be over 16.
We will continue to support all owners of banned breeds as we recognise the importance of dogs being exercised properly, however we will be strict on the use of our fields in the interest of safety for all customers. Anyone found not to be following our rules will be banned from using the fields in future.

You will now receive the gate code via email and text. The SMS message will come up to 2 hours before your session. You will no longer receive a message the evening before your session.
