Happy New Year everyone. Just want to say again thanks for all the support over the last year and more.

Just to let you know I will be increasing my prices by £3-£5 depending on breed/coat/temperament this is keeping in line with other local groomers. I have been putting it off as long as possible but with the cost of living rising I’ve had to.

Update: Owner and doggy reunited!!😍

A kind neighbour has found a wee dog in Rowling crescent in Kinnaird village when walking their dog. It's an old boy, cataracts and they think he's a lhaso apso.

We’d love to reunite on Christmas Day 💝

He was out with his dog walker today in the North Third area and ran off after being spooked.

His owners are out searching the area just now.

I’m on holiday from 6th to 25th of September my book in incredibly busy until the end of October and I have limited space until the end of the year. I don’t want to say the C word but it may be time to think about Christmas 🎄. Those on a regular schedule have already been pencilled in.

🌾And here is a vet bill in plant form 🌾

We are right in the middle of and if you are anything like me, it's a constant process of grooming, checking, avoiding and occasionally vocalising 'don't stick your head in that bit!! 🤣🙈'

Did you know that the odds of a GSFB *grass seed foreign body* is 176x more likely in July than January? I mean, slightly obvious considering the life cycle of grass but a good reminder!

Also...there are other risk factors....

1. Breed/type - spaniels are 7.7x more likely to present with GSFB than retriever breeds/types
2. S*x - males more likely than females (and it is usually my boys sticking their heads into the worst places, so not a surprise!)
3. Urban vs rural - reduced GSFB risk in urban areas
4. Geography - highest risk in East of England *UK* and lowest in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Turns out my life choices of spaniels, two males, rural home in the East of England is a grass seed 'winner' 🤣😱🙈
