Seems approachable but runs away if you are too close.

INTRODUCING CONNIE ❤️🐱
Connie is estimated to be between 18 months and 2 years of age.
A little shy initially, but once she gets to know you Connie is an affectionate and loving cat.
She is now ready to find a forever home, where she will be given affection, love and care.
Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Declared fit for homing by the vet along with a medical summary to such effect, with no medical issues identified.
She will come with 4 weeks free PetPlan insurance for peace of mind.
Over time she may like a safe garden to explore, but not for at least 3 months.
If you live in rented accommodation, proof of consent to have cats will be required. Connie, would be best suited to an adult only home or with a family with children 13+.

Estimated to be around 6-8 Months Old.
Found in the WS3 area. Very scared and timid when found around 6 weeks ago, but has slowly come out its shell with their finders.

Looking for her forever home is Mitty and she's about 2 years old. This beautiful soul was rescued off the streets and neutered. She then came into our care when no owner could be found.
Mitty is a very chatty and loveable lady, who loves nothing more than to rub around you for lots of fuss.
Mitty isn't over keen on other cats, although she did come into care with a young kitten that was found in her same location, but there was a bit of hissing going on.
Mitty is a gentle natured cat, so would fit into any loving family home and would love a garden to explore once she's fully settled into her new environment.
Mitty has been fully vaccinated, chipped, spayed, FIV/Felv tested and has had dental work done. She has now been cleared fit for homing. Mitty will come with 4 weeks free Petplan insurance.

CAT FOR ADOPTION 😍
Here we have the Gorgeous Dilly, Dilly is estimated to be around 3 years of age.She came into our care having had multiple litters of kittens.
Dilly is a shy timid cat. For this reason, she would be best suited to a quiet and calm home with no other pets or young children.
Initially upon coming into care, Dilly hid in her little fort for the first week or so, but no waits to greet her fosterer at her pen door. Any new adopter, must be prepared to give her this small window of time to adjust and settle. Previous cat owners would be ideal for Dilly.
She is a gentle, sweet natured cat, whom once she realises she can trust you can’t wait to be your best friend.

Alvin (ginger), Simon (ginger) and Theodore (ginger and white) were born in CP Care at the beginning of March. Now 10 weeks of age, their search for a new home starts. Preference will be given to applications offering to keep them together as they are a very closely bonded trio.
All 3 boys are wonderful, friendly kittens, whom have been well socialised and enjoy being cuddled and playtime.

This friendly little female tortoiseshell kitten (approximately 5 months old) was found on 21st April in the WS10 area.
When found she was very hungry. She is not chipped and potentially not spayed.

Blossom came into our care having been found as a stray. She was not neutered and attracting multiple male cats attention. Blossom is estimated to be between 18 months and 2 years of age. She is extremely friendly and likes to be showered with attention and fuss. She likes to climb onto your lap and pushes herself as close as possible, gives regular head-bonks and rubs herself around your legs. Blossom can be demanding and also likes to chat with you. Due to her very demanding nature, a home where she is not left alone for long periods regularly is going to be best for her and without young children. Hello, I'm Alfie and I am believed to be about 10 years old.
I was taken as a stray to the vets where I had an eye ulcer and needed dental work, which was successfully treated. It was then noticed I had entropion of the eyelids, which is a condition where the eyelid turns inwards, causing me lots of discomfort. This has now been rectified with both eyes having had surgery and I was given the all clear to be adopted.
I am a quirky individual, I love my food but don't eat dry. I like nothing more than to settle down on a comfy lap and will follow you around the house.
I need a home with a lot of time and affection as I have a lot of love to give my new family. I would prefer a home with no other pets, where I am the centre of attention.
Alfie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He has been declared fit for homing by the vet along with a medical summary to such effect.

Estimated to be around 2 years of age, Barney came into our care having being living as a stray as part of a wider colony of cats.
He is a very affectionate cat and is fond of humans.
Not tested with dogs. Used to being with other in a colony environment and so may be ok to reside with another cat. Suitable for a family home with children who are calm and respectful of him and whom are not overly boisterous.

Hela, Loki and Thor came into our care due to an unavoidable change in their owner’s circumstances meaning they could not keep them. This was a heartbreaking decision for their owner as they had been their much loved pets since being kittens.
They are all 2 years of age and extremely loving. They will sleep on your lap all day and love a cuddle. Loki at 6 months of age, it was noticed that he occasionally arches and slumps his back when he walks. Loki was assessed by specialist referral vets who ruled out all serious issues and concluded it is just something that he does, with no impact upon quality of life and no treatment requirements. Evidence of the vet assessments has been reviewed by the vets used by Cats Protection alongside a full vet examination with no concerns raised.
Coming into care resulted in these beautiful cats being a little shy initially but have all now grown to trust their foster carer and will require a couple of weeks to gain confidence in a new home. Not tested with dog. Used to being with other cats and would like if possible to secure a home for all 3 together, but not essential.

We've been advised that this cat was spotted on Walstead Road this morning approximately 6:30am opposite Joseph Leckie Academy. This cat appeared to be limping before the video was captured and the individual was concerned the cat may have been hit by a vehicle. The cat in question was not taken anywhere and ran away quite content. This post is for awareness only should the cat be missing and the owners looking for them.
Jaffa was seen this week by our vets for a post op check after his dental procedure and to discuss next steps. The vets were pleased with his progress. Jaffa is finally free of all scabs and sores on his skin and after 4 baths (to date), his fur is beginning to look a lot better and has shed a lot of the matted material and knots. He has gained weight and upon stroking him, his spine and ribs can no longer be felt. The vet nurse commented that he looked like a different cat. He has had a delicate tummy and sickness and so, his anti-inflammatory medication has had to be stopped. We were also unable to commence his vaccinations due to the tummy issues. Jaffa will return to the vets later this week (now his delicate tummy issues have passed) and we shall begin treatment following a review of his x-rays. His x-rays have shown that he has arthritis in both hip joints. The hock joint in his left leg also shows evidence of arthritis from a previous injury/ trauma that does not appear to have been treated at the time and has healed itself with some deformity issues to the bone and additional bone growth. He is now enjoying playing with a ping pong ball, albeit expects his fosterer to do most of the fetching and retrieving of the ball!!
Just look at gorgeous Jaffa now! He has so much more energy, he’s gained weight and his fur is glossier. He still has some way to go with his back legs and further discussions to be had with the vet as to how best to treat him but he looks like a different cat in just a couple of weeks, thanks to all of your generous donations and love ❤️.
