Building Herbies confidence around dogs! It’s Herbies 3rd session with us! And what an improvement in his confidence! In today’s session we used our Mali Nora in her place command, and allowed Herbie to build up his confidence being around a dog that’s sharing the same space! Herbies confidence continued to grow throughout his session today and the SK9A crew are super proud!
Herbie Visited Us for Some Training Today! To Work on some of his fear based reactivity towards dogs. He was very nervous and anxious to start the session so we respected this and gently introduced the clicker in a quiet indoor area with no distractions! Herbie Quickly learned to be relaxed and confident and we were able to increase criteria throughout his session! Look forward to our next Session Herbie! Also Happy Birthday!
After a great day yesterday! Rook has deserved an easier day today to allow him to decompress. We have completed lots of fun, small training session throughout the day and this evening we visited The Cartlodge Hall, Horam Manor Farm to practise some training with no distractions. Rook also started learning The Emergency Stop this evening and this is how far we got! Well done Rook!
Rook has been with us now for one week! We are super pleased with how well he is learning and his residential training is paying off! From Reacting to the sound of a dog to now being able to walk with one in as little as one week! Week two we will be continuing this development and continuing with his obedience training! Rock on Rook!
